Beautiful creek & perfect weather! Glad you got a new Tilley & camera. That was almost worth flipping the canoe! Man that new camera takes some sharp video. Fish on friend! Have you ever tried fishing a Yellowhammer?

Hows it hanging Swamp! That video is so sharp my eyeballs bled! I have tied and used yellow hammers. The first time I tried one (on a creek I did a video on last year) I caught my PB brown trout for that creek around 25 years ago and never topped that since on that creek. I tied some using I think Mallard wing feathers dyed yellow. That gets you very close to the real feather. How I know it's close is because I have seen a real yellow hammer feather. Guy showed me one and I have no idea who he is and how he obtained it. He claimed he found a dead one while hiking. Just using one to tie a fly was a felony back then. Anyway, the yellow hammer is deadly. Now ya got me wanting to search for those old dyed yellow mallard wing feathers and tying some up. I know I got some somewhere. Thanks for watching and input brother!

Hey, thanks for taking us along! Have you ever used Tenkara equipment on those brushy streams?
@derekspace2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! No I have not. I currently don't have a Tenkara rod It's a neat concept and I watch most of Tenkara Addicts videos but haven't gone down that road yet.

@@derekspace Please, if you do ‘go down that road’, will you take me and everyone else along with you on that journey? Choosing equipment, rigging, how best to put it to use on our Eastern small streams etc. Your videos are a breath of fresh air and I really enjoy them. Thanks, Charles
