"This video was caught on dash cam by one of our customers recently. The pickup truck takes the turn too wide and drives right into another vehicle. The pickup truck took off immediately, but there was a police cruiser a few cars behind the dashcammer's car that saw everything, and turned around to chase the pickup truck. Not sure if he was caught, but seemed likely."

I never understand why people almost always take wide right turns.

He probably needed to be in the left lane eventually and chose to get in lane change immediately as opposed to making a lane change further down the road. I see this all the time driving in the Ontario and cautiously make a turn when encountering vehicles making turns from an opposing direction. @@gtadriver3627 I work downtown Vancouver atm, and I have to do 4 dual left turns on the way there, my dashcam has caught many idiots. my usage of the lanes varies depending on where I'm going. Almost 100% of the time I use the lane I need for my next turn. So if I need to turn right after a dual left, I use the righthand left turn lane. But sometimes i use the other, usually because traffic is backed up and I'm not making an immediate turn after.

@@MissKavaMay not sure what you mean but the law says you have to take the first lane when turning into traffic. This truck took the second lane which makes the accident his fault 100 percent.

This is a very common violation of the traffic act. When turning a corner you must end up in the same lane as the one that you started the turn in. It is illegal to change lanes in an intersection. As you see the pickup went from the curb lane to an inner lane, aiming for the centre lane from the looks of it. I have never understood why drivers do it.

Keep in mind supporting video compilations creators on KZbin is different from giving videos away to "Viral video marketers" who take your video and repost it under their management purely for profits. Rules of the road state that you must turn into your own lane, which generally is the one tightest/closest to you. The truck went into the celicas lane
