Out of all the countries in the Mediterranean, I think it’s safe to say that Malta may be one of the most unique. And of all the incredible things we’ve seen in Malta the fish market at Marsaxlokk is probably the thing that will leave the strongest impression on us… Literally
And this is one of the last experiences that we’ll have in Malta as Isabella’s medical appointments that have kept us from leaving are almost all finished. Although getting Isa to her appointment and sailing to the famous fish market might sound like pretty easy tasks they both turned into a much bigger adventure than we expected.

Dear Sailing Project Atticus family, That is a really great tip, Holzkern! Love their materials, especially the wood, but also their cool designs. Need to save some cash, first to send you guys some, but also to buy at least one of Holzkern watch and sunglass models. Really beautiful stuff. And another fab episode, Isa just melts everyone's heart with her sweet and bright smile and gaze. Con cariño, desde Panamá, la "tía" (postiza) Ivy 🤗

Hi you 3 and Oso, loved the fish market at the end. Glad you can start sailing again. Wasn't sure if you should have taken E SA on the hike. I'm trying to watch out for her too😮. It's like the gods were watching out for you on that dinghy Jordan. I can't get over how lovable E s a is! Thanks Desiree and Jordan I catch you on the next one.❤❤❤

Without Isa's birthmark, you would not know that there were any health concerns. She looks so perfect! She has awesome chub on her! She is so awake and alert! She is using her hands so much and reaching for things! She watches so much around her. She doesn't seem too fussy at all. (All babies get fussy, so I am sure you edit it out, but she has a lot of happy times!) And she is so beautiful! Just an observation.... The fuel saga lasted lest than 2 minutes of your video and you did not actually run out, but you put "Out of Fuel" in your title. I'm glad that you didn't run out and it was not a big deal in the end, but was surprised that was in the title.

I think it is some kind of magic when a babies face lights up a smile like that. Not magic like the usual sense of the word, but it's something in us that must go back hundreds of thousands of years. We just feel good to see that. No matter what else is going on, there is just that moment of blissful happiness. All from seeing a baby smile. Well done Isa!

Malta's plant life has similar features to the eastern lower Central Valley of California (think Los Angeles, go east then north). No trees or scrub trees and spotted bushes. That means low rainfall, despite the squalls you had. It suggests that Malta is influence by the same weather patterns that affect North Africa. When you get to Sicily, we'll see how that vegetation unfolds.

Another great video and editing job. Seeing that LNG ship definitely brings back memories. I used to sail on LNG ships in the 1980s. We delivered the LNG from Indonesia up to Japan. Admire your skill, bravery and good instincts to do what you are doing. Young lady when I saw you on that knife edge trail it brought back memories of doing the Clouds Rest trail in Yosemite which had even more of a drop off and I have a touch of acrophobia. I would stay away from farmed fish, the problem is the ganky fish food they give them. Isa is so cute and I know you guys are taking good care of her. Hang in there!

3:20 You guys might want to consider getting walking poles for this kind of hiking. I find them helpful for carrying my 30-40 pound paraglider up the side of mountains. They help with stability on steep terrain carrying a load. Nice ones collapse and don't take up much space. Thanks for the video. Sail On!

Had a nice mixed seafood platter at 3 Sisters in Marsaxlokk. All the restaurants have outdoor seating and it looks like one big seating area. Bet you had few really nice meals out of the fish you purchased. Just a few bays up the coast is St. Thomas with its historic salt pans etched into the rock for collecting sea water and in turn . . . salt. Malta is amazing!

Would have liked to get a nice watch, but their cookie insistence nixed that idea toute suite! That little lady is quite the cutie and so laid back (from what we can see, lol) and will take to the hikes and boat life quite well with this introduction to that lifestyle. Of course, I doubt that you will be doing all the sailing and adverturing that we would like, but it's still a good introduction to life "on the road/seas".

I have followed you from the first search for a budget boat, and still wonder what happened to the original Atticus... As for the dingy, I believe I would invest in a spare one-gallon tank to tuck away. I get upset when I run out of mower gas, but so much worse to run out of fuel in bad weather, or a long way from a source...
