Love this trick because it is not poker. Most people i perform to don't know poker hands.

That routine is so baffling. It’s so incredibly fair.

I like the free choice thing , but as a blackjack presentation there are some problems : players should hit when lower than 12 and the dealer should hit when lower than 17. That's how it works in my local casino. First phases don't do that , just the last one... Suggestion to clean this up : make the player and dealer hit till stand or bust each phase. Stack the deck accordingly and do a top deal or second deal or bottom deal when needed.

I don’t know the method he is using but I would use something similar to a million dollar method.

I have to admit I prefer your performance to Luke's. But I'm concerned about the ending -- the trick just sort of stops. There isn't any sort of escalation in the "drama", so the end feels a little flat. Any thoughts about that, Craig?

I really like this but I don't know if I'll get it just because anyone I do it to would be pissed off at me, I have to think hard if it matches my persona

I love it! How foolproof is it? Are you controlling the cards so you can win every time? Great trick and performance. My kind of thing.

I'll just say, I'm a beginner magician. Have only been practicing since December. And there's nothing about this routine that's even somewhat challenging for me. This is a "it's so easy you can focus on your presentation above all else" type of deal

@@RayAtchley this is encouraging and good to hear you've just started. I've seen comments regarding gimmicks yet no matter how many times I watch this I cannot see anything - it looks so clean and fair (even though it patently isn't!) though I'm thinking it cannot be repeated.

@@godfreyblatcher5772 he explains a smart way you can instant reset as well! Woildnt do it with the same spectator though

I'm really, REALLY interested in these kind of routines where the spectators have a genuine free choice which seem to influence the outcome. Do you have any more resources on effects where spectators are given a genuine free choice? I seem to recall a poker effect where the spectator is 5 times given the opportunity to pick any of 2 cards he wants and the magician always wins. Is it Bannon?

Alright dude, i watch all of your videos and i now have a question? How many tricks did you and Reagan film that day. I mean I am super impressed and have learned such great magic but it appears (only because of wardrobe) that you must have performed 100+ tricks in a day. Crazy impressive

like any tv programme - they record several episodes a day. I do recall asking Craig if he only had one shirt when I first discovered this channel!

Great stuff Craig! I saw this about a week ago and I'm on the fence...I know the method and was wondering if I could use it for other tricks like Mastermind deck or like a Perfect (mark mason) in addition to the actual tricks routine?

Like i said when you performed it in another video. Im surprised at Luke bringing this out at the original is just as good maybe better with normal deck.

I was sitting on the fence about this trick when I saw it performed by Luke Jermay. I find him a bit pompous. Your presentation is much more fun. It reminds me of "Decisions" by Mozique, in that you determine the outcome all the time. I have no idea how this works. Great presentation. BTW Everybody beware of Robert Young and Jeff Parker. Their links lead to porn sites.
