Well, I beg to differ. More solves is not like having more forces in cardmagic, it's like having more revelations. Vernon put it like this : "if you have a hundred forces and one revelation, you have one trick. if you have one force and a hundred revelations you have a hundred tricks. But I respect your opinion from a practical point of view. By the way : Ryland with a cube in hand, a sight to be seen....

Hi Craig, regarding keymaster and the holes, have you ever thought about extending it to the tokens that people use for trolley's that also have a hole in (that approximate a £1 coin)... if you like the idea I want a cut of the royalties LOL ;-) Phil Lawson

Hi Craig, any tips on the one handed top palm. I’m struggling with my thumb positioning, it always bends and gets in the way. I’m wondering should it be straight. Thanks.

Hi Craig - sorry to hear your recent sad news, hope you’re all doing okay, no matter how long we have them, it’s never long enough! Wondering if you have any advice for me which I think other may struggle with too… it’s magic overload! Specifically wanting and purchasing effect after effect and gimmick after gimmick. I find that I’ve got got a few things on my close up mat waiting for me to give them time and attention but instead I’m still watching trailers and wanting something else. How can I strip it back and just perfect what I’ve got??! Thanks I’m advance 🫶🏻

Hi Craig, hope you have had an amazing week! Two questions for you. What would you say are five relatively easy yet underrated tricks in magic that are absolutely killer? Secondly, how difficult would you say it is to perform Leviosa? I have experience with Loops, but Leviosa seems a but intimidating to get into. The final moment however looks incredible and I can only imagine the reactions it can get.

Hi Craig. Hope you are well. I was wondering if you ever perform fire magic in your shows. If so, would you consider doing a top five fire effects video? Cheers. By the way, I go by Kendall whenever I can steal some time to join the Live Virtual Magic Clubs on Sundays. Hope to catch the next one.

What are middler tricks please?
@Mysteryman000
@Mysteryman000 11 сағат бұрын
When performing close up, most experienced magicians have a set, each set consists of 3,4 or 5 tricks, the magician would perform for each person/group, you start with an quick opening trick, and end with a big closing trick, middlers are tricks you would perform in between them , hence the word middle, but there are reasons why certain tricks would only be good for middlers, I already have mine, I just want his opinion on it, not many magicians speak on it, because they don't want to reveal what tricks they use and perform, so other magicians don't copy them. @@1581davis

Thank you for the advice on gimmick vs skill effects! I’m going to apologize for the long winded question ahead of time. I struggle with being concise (helpful during performance but frustrating to others in conversation!). I suggested a while back on The Netrix adding a section to access the purchased effect tutorials from the instructors tied to the individual account. Is this even possible? I know legality can be tricky. But I thought it would be extremely convenient to Netrix users who don’t want to switch between Vimeo, p3, and Alakazam.

That trick for me has too much of an “ima fool the spectator” aspect and too little of an “I’m having a good time with the spectator” aspect. But it’s really well executed for what it’s trying to be. This one’s not for me tho.

In my experience, sometimes when your "caught" its just them yelling out a theory/guess (usually a kid). Depending on the routine I might just go on to the next part as its about to hit really hard or Ill be a little sarcastic and say "oh yea thats how it works", then do the same thing with a different method. Challenging them does come with some risk. Another thing you can do is keep a sealed envelope in ur pocket that says "for the guy who caught me" with a sure fire prediction.

Hi Craig. I continue to be inspired every week by the amazing content on Magic TV - keep it up, Magic TV Team. I recently bought Pocket Roulette and in the tutorial, it was started that there is a move which the trick creators can't teach, because the move is not theirs to teach. (Somewhat annoyed me, as I think 'creators' should provide tricks which are 'good to go'. They referenced a book called Vitals by Franco Pascali and Antonio Bourgeois to learn the move, without saying what it's called. As you may recall from my previous question (re crossing the face switch - thanks for the great answer to that), I learn better from watching videos than reading books. So - what I need is a way to convince a spectator that I am holding - and giving to them - five cards when, in truth, I am only giving them four cards. Any thoughts? Many thanks.

Do you think Tom stone benson burner would work for bgt because the one handed vanishes and end explosion would look great on tv with music. The only reason I’d bother learning it is for this reason (as it won’t be useful for me anywhere else). Do you think I should learn at as it may work for bgt or should I spend my time thinking of something else that would work better if you think this isn’t the type of thing they would like. Tom stone told me it may work

Another great video Craig! I can’t wait to make it out to a convention one of these days. What you said about Matt being inspirational is so true. I’ve been a hobbiest magician for about 20 years, on and off. The Matt-umentary inspired me to create new socials for my magic and start posting magic videos again, and to go out and start performing. It’s been incredible seeing his journey.
