Cody, I know about it but there's not much that can really fix that. I would just suggest you work around it as best as possible. Definitely go to your physician and get their advice

Hi “Rell, I got a question: I been reading you should not bench press more than 22 sets a week. I bench three times a week and do about 15 sets each workout. What are your feelings about how many sets you should do per workout and how many times you should bench a week? Howard

I don't think there's a certain amount of sets... It depends on so much more... If you are eating a lot, staying hydrated and keeping your form in check… You will be fine Howard. When I was at my strongest, I was benching 2-3 times a week like you are. I did some days have a little elbow soreness but those days I would just go much lighter.

Decent back workout Darrell. Next time try deadlifts supersetted with shrugs as ur opener. When I say supersetted, I mean deadlift it and then shrug at the top. Pyramid up and come down slow, 10 sets. Set 5&6 are ur 5 rep max. Pull-ups, 5 sets to failure. T-bar rows, 5 sets to failure. EZ bar curls, 5 sets to failure. That'll fix ya and it hits the Christmas tree too. BTW, ur looking swole💪👍

Wow!!!! I would die with all that volume brother... 10 sets of deadlifts, and then 15 sets to failure?? My CNS would be nonexistent after that lol

@@strengthteam8535 It's only 25 sets. U been doin that. U don't have to do 10 sets of deadlift/ shrugs. Remember, when u kick up the intensity, u don't need the volume. The pump takes care of itself. Remember what I showed u in Hit training. I can do in 2 sets what u do in 5 and get faster results

Not only that, Darrell but u and I could bench the same weight for the same reps and depending on whether ur using all ur pecs or just throwing the weight up determines how much intensity ur using. Anybody can keep increasing the weight for the sake of numbers and eat like a viking in a surplus to get bigger but quality is when ur working the muscle, not the joints.

Mind muscle connection. I can bench and either work my Tris, delts or pecs...depending on what I contract and I can separate em within the same compound exercise. Riddle that. When u master that, u unlock true, natural growth.

Yeah that's pretty accurate. On my chest day I still do some shoulder work and then the same for my shoulder workouts, I still do a little work for chest
