The plaintiff says the defendant is her cousin. However, the defendant allegedly assaulted the plaintiff with a shovel and pulled her hair out, so the plaintiff is suing for emotional distress. The defendant insists the plaintiff is the one who attacked her. The defendant is countersuing for damaged property.
