I don't really follow unreleased music. because it always disappoints me when it's never released. like, I recently discovered the song Need by Taylor Swift and it might never be released. okay so (from a billie fan deeeep into the lore) there is some context/quick info about some tracks: SKINNY - there was a pic of her in a tank top i think in 2020-2021 where everyone said she was fat (it was just that nobody has seen her body) LUNCH - i dont think this banger needs explanation lol. she recently came out and you should also read the interview she gave to vanity fair CHIHIRO - if you have seen the movie you probably can spot the references. some of them are: 1.said you wont forget my name 2. open up the door 3.saw you turn around but it wasnt your face 4.i was waiting in the garden 5.there's a part of me that recognizes you do you feel it too (i thinks thats all). i'm not explaining the scenes cause i dont wanna spoil:) BIRDS OF A FEATHER - just a love song:) WILDFLOWER - okayyy lets take it from the beginning. Jesse Rutherford (singer of The neighborhood) was dating Devon Carlson for six years (2015-2021). Billie dated Jesse for less than a year in 2022-2023. Devon was Billie's friend when she and Jesse broke up ('she was crying on my shoulder') and some months later Billie and Jesse started dating ('only made us closer until July'). Billie said in a interview that this song is about breaking the 'Girl Code' and that's why she questions herself 'did i cross the line?'. She can't get over the guilt of dating her friend's ex and she still 'sees her in the back of her mind all the time'. Also, the title comes from a phone case brand that Devon owns, called 'Wildflower Cases'. THE GREATEST - there is not much to explain about this one. It's a heartbreak song talking about a one-sided relationship where she was the only one who tried and where 'all her love and patience (was) unappreciated'. L'AMOUR DE MA VIE - the tranlation of the title is 'Love of my life'. This is a kind of 'revenge' song that SLAPS the shit out of her ex (we are not sure which one) saying she wishes the best for him but 'i told you a lie when i said you were the love of my life'. She claims that she was not inlove with him 'now go fall inlove just like we were, if i ever was'. Then in the end she re-quotes her chorus lyric saying 'for you i was the love of your life, but you were not mine'. Second part of the song is just a clubby little part just saying she is glad it's all over with them now (she also put out an extended version of it called 'Over Now'). THE DINER - so when Billie was still living with her parents and she started to get famous, she had multiple stalkers around her house. One of them was the creepiest, he sent her letters saying he is Lucifer (in her song NDA she also makes a reference to him saying: 'got a stalker walking up and down the street says he's satan and he'd like to meet') and that 'if you don't take this letter seriously YOU WILL D!E;' (yes, in all caps). He broke into her garden topless ('was easy getting over and i landed on my feet') and everytime she saw him he made a thoat-cutting move. After that Billie filed a restraining order against him and i think he got arrested. This song is written from the stalker's POV. BITTERSUITE - not much really, just another banger. Its outro is the instrumental of the first verse of 'blue' BLUE - this song is a combination of the unreleased but leaked and also quite famous very old song 'True Blue' Billie wrote on the beggining of her career and the song 'Born Blue' which was supposed to be in her album 'Hppier Than Ever' but didn't make it. 'True blue' is the first part of BLUE, kinda changed tho. In the first part of the song she also makes a reference to all of the previous songs on the album, either with their title or with lyrics included in them, The second part of BLUE is where we hear 'Born Blue'. Fun fact: in SKINNY and BLUE at the end of both songs there is the melody of the part from THE GREATEST that says 'i loved you and i still do, just wanted passion from you just wanted what i gave you i waited and waaaaaiteeeeeeeeeeed' okay that's all OOF IT TOOK SOME TIME, thank me later:))

I don’t know if someone has already said this but in regards to wildflower - ALLEGEDLY- Billie was a fan of Jesse Rutherford for years and years and she became close friends with him and his girlfriend of many years, Devon Lee Carlson. Jesse and Devon fell out of love and broke up, Billie was there to comfort Devon through the breakup until suddenly Billie and Jesse started seeing each other. In the song she says things like I see her in the back of my mind all the time, meaning during her and Jesse dating all she thought about was Devon and her guilt and how she’s wondering if she crossed the line by dating Jesse. She also says she would it ever ask who was better meaning she wouldn’t ask Jesse if her or Devon were better cause they’re different people and she doesn’t want to know the answer to that. I think the songs is her talking to Jesse which is why at the end she says “and I wonder do you see her in the back of your mind, in my eyes?” Because she feels all this guilt and she wonders if he does too. Also the outro of her saying “you say no one knows you so well but every time you touch me I just wonder how she felt” sounds like even when they’re being intimate she still thinks about Devon and how he’s doing these things with her and he used to do them with Devon for years.

THE LORE OF BILLIE AND FINNEAS: Billie Eilish first blew up from a song called “ocean eyes” that Finneas wrote for billie’s dance class. She released “ocean eyes” on SoundCloud when she was just 12/13 years old, and it kinda blew up from there. I recommend y’all react to her EP: “DONT SMILE AT ME” to hear what she started with. She was only 15 when the EP was released. Her debut album was released when she was 17. Both the album and EP were made in a small bedroom in their childhood home. “The Diner” is Billie’s stalkers perspective. NDA is Billie’s perspective on the stalker. Context: Billie had a stalker that broke into her family/childhood home where her parents still were last year (I believe), and sent her threats. She had this other stalker, a 53 year old man, In November & send hundreds of messages to her and her family, and threatened to k*ll finneas.

blue is a mix of two unreleased songs, the first part being true blue which is probably her most popular unreleased song, and fans have been wanting her to release it for so long and its finally hereee. the second part is an unreleased song called born blue, a song that i think was meant to be on happier than ever but they took it off.

hi! a little background here. wildflower is about billie's ex, jesse rutherford's, ex girlfriend, devon lee carlson. devon was one of billie's closest friends when she and jesse broke up. as billie is talking about in the song, she's comforting her friend because jesse broke her heart. however, billie later starts dating jesse and loses devon as a friend (obviously) but this didn't sit well with billie as devon was her best friend. she mentions in the song about how she always thinks about devon in the back of her mind and wonders "did i cross a line" by dating her best friends ex boyfriend. listening to the song again after knowing this background information really makes the song hit soooo hard. ALSO, devon has a phone case company called wildflower (:

In L'AMOUR DE MA VIE, in the first part she isn't talking about how inlove she was. She says ''I need to confess, I told you a lie, I said you were the love of my live'' and ''I felt sorry for you when I looked in your eyes'', because she was not inlove with him like he was. Also calls him out on making her feel like she couldn't leave him, like it would be devastating for him but then he moved on immediately.
