47:07 that's a great take actually. Billie's music has so much of that childish questioning perspective. Some questions that come to mind rn: "what was I made for?" "when we all fall asleep, where do we go?" "everybody dies, and when will I?" "was I made from a broken mode?" "what is it about them?". It's interesting because these questions encourage listeners to persue answers from their own perspectives. I'm so ready for her new album on the 17th, I have a great feeling about it

Just so you know Oxytocin was made specifically with the purpose of she wanted to have a fun song to perform live and have kind of a break before the deeper songs! Also overheated was about how she was showed a primer of “not my responsibility” at a show and everyone started taking out their phones and screaming instead of paying attention to the message Billie was trying to convey.

As someone who has been in a long distance relationship, Halley's Comet really speaks on the feelings you go through in that kind of relationship. The song talks about dreaming about them and that is because in some long distance relationships you never really see each other in person. Long distance relationships are very difficult which is why she talks about not wanting it and that it was silly of her to fall in love when she knew from the beginning it wasn't something she was looking for. It being a long distance relationship shows in the lyric " midnight for me is 3:00 am for you". This song is the definition of falling in love with someone so deeply but not being able to have the same connection as an in person relationship, which is why the song ends with "what am i to do". EDIT: idk if anyone else sees the song this way but that is the way i interpret it.

some facts about the album: - The song Billie Bossa Nova is because of my country (Brazil), it's about s*x but it's because of us (this song is because of you) - The video for Your power is sensational (like everything Billie does) you need to watch it. And there are no words to say how important this song is to me. - Not my responsibility is one of the lyrics she is most proud of having written. (a letter that all of us women can identify with) - When the Lost Cause video was released, it generated a lot of controversy (this song is so addictive) - Evebody dies was supposed to be more recognized - The video for Thefore I am was recorded with a cell phone. - Male fantasy is super relatable.

Lost cause is my favorite especially after my ex fiancée he got fired 2x and quit 1x after I helped him get each job well I worked 2 jobs and payed for his shit and told ppl it was his money so he would look good I payed his rent and phone bill only to be emotionally abused by a narcissist and cheated on 2x and then he begged me crying on his knees not to tell his momma which I did and man did she beat his ass I’m still friends with his mom she still to this day says his a dumbass for hurting and letting me go his finally engaged again apparently to his 8th girlfriend but his sister said his reckless and doesn’t care if he dies and doesn’t really love her he cries for me every night and she yells at him calling him names like he did to me and he got pissed when he found out I have a date with a childhood friend of mine he met when we were together my ex wasn’t my type I just went out with him because I felt bad because ppl always say ugly ppl never get chances I did 2x too many his lose my childhood crush gain so yeah lost cause and your power my top 2 favs
