Well I am in love with By The Fireplace during the winter😍. For years, since Marshmallow Fireside wallflowers came out at B&BW, I wanted a perfume of it. I would beg the managers to give them word about making body care. Then one day I went to Sephora and asked the SA to find me a scent that’s close to it. She referred me to BTF. I’m in love. Yes the first spray is intense but the dry down.... omgggg. It’s the perfect winter scent. I love spraying my big furry winter robe or even scarves with it. It feels so comforting and cozy for me. The longer the scent sits, the sweeter it gets. Like sweet marshmallow with a bonfire far in the distance. Comforting bliss!!

Just blind bought Elie Saab and Coco Intense! I’m nervous with Le Perfume because JP Scandal really overwhelmed me and I gifted that to my mom. I agree. Chanel Mademoiselle Intense is strong. One spray is all you need and the scent never leaves your clothes. I prefer the Intense over the original bc the og is too floral. I was glad to find the Intense which was perfect for me. If you have the coins it’s nice owning both. Wear the og for daytime and during the hotter months and the Intense for the opposite. But you don’t necessarily need both. The Intense stays true to the og dna. It’s a warmer scent but still floral. I wear mine anytime and the scent fits me just fine.

I just received samples of Hibiscus Palm yesterday (picked them up thanks to your channel). I have travel sizes of TF Eau de Soleil Blanc and Soleil Blanc, and although I think they are beautiful fragrances I think I prefer Hibiscus Palm.

CM Intense is INCREDIBLE!!!! I wear it on my wrists, then a men’s cologne everywhere else. When it dries down, it smells like dessert (in a good way!)😍

I have the Elie Saab le parfum, trying really hard to love it but... not there yet. Your review is really encouraging me to keep trying. I'll wait some more and try again, otherwise might have to find a better home for it. I wouldn't mind hoarding it just for the pretty bottle (I don't have a huge number of perfumes so decluttering is not an issue) but I might as well swap it for something I love and will wear, right?!

I love your minimalist perfume approach. I only started collecting fragrances late last year, but am keeping an eye on not getting overwhelmed and collecting too much. the cedar is not very noticable, like I say it's majority a white floral and honey, I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy just because when I first blind bought it I didn't like it. I was expecting it to be sweeter because girl of now is so sweet, so I was disappointed initially. But everyone's different :)

I found that some niche fragrances are not to be worn directly on skin but to be sprayed around you to give this special setting like sitting by the fireplace etc. But it's too expensive for me to spray niche fragrances in the air. Could you please review the elixirs of nature line from body shop? The swietenia one smells like honey and orange blossoms. And I like their technology to create the perfume without destroying the flowers

Unfortunately, Le Parfum was a major miss for me. The honey note was so nauseating to me. I gave it away right away to my sister and she seems to like it. Lovely video!

I totally agree about not smelling like a fireside candle and there seems to be a lot of that out there !! I do love solel blanc ,I have a sample of it and put it on at night It’s funny how we can change our minds about a fragrance . Just recently sampled by the fireplace and in the library. They are both nice but I feel like they would work better as a room scent for me. I also sampled Lipstick On and that one was instant love 💕 oh my it is beautiful! Elie Saab is a nice one but doesn’t last long on me.

Patchouli is a very polarizing component in perfumery. Depending on how it's used I have heard being described as airy, light but also I have heard the term 'dirty patchouli' which I imagine is how would it smell when it is highly concentrated. A lot also depends on the other notes it is blended with, concentration etc. so I don't find it at all surprising that people who dislike patchouli in a perfume like Angel wouldn't mind it in others like the some of the Chanel perfumes. 😜

I couldn't believe that GoN was in that section! And also, I got back home to a package from PerfumeOnline - Olympea and Insolence EDP. And I'm still thinking whether or not I should get YSL Manifesto, because it's on sale on their website ($82.60 for 90ml!) and of course because I really adore the scent!

The Simple Chic Life thanks. I’ve tried two of their oils but didn’t feel they were very close to the originals...they smelled rancid actually. The scented had mentioned them and had great things to say about them as well. Maybe I just got the duds! 😊

Maria Collett that’s such a bummer! I have 6 of their fragrances, and the ones I have are IDENTICAL to the real perfume. I’ve compared them all (I bought the oil version of perfumes I have) and I actually layer the oil under the perfume to increase longevity!

I feel like with the amt TF charges for Eau de Soleil Blanc, I should just lather myself up with sunscreen, smells similar, double as skin cancer protectant, and much more economical, as well 😄 I want to try Aerin Hibicus Palm

I love Hibiscus Palm more than Tom Ford Soleil Blanc and Eau de Soleil Blanc it’s my favorite beachy scent. By the Fireplace was a love at first sniff for me I would probably by the 10 ml and only wear it to bonfires or if I ever went camping 🤣

As i remember, Goldea as I smelled it for the 1st time a few years ago, it immediatelly sent me into the atmosphere of ancient Roman, luxurious places where empresses were relaxing and a black guy waved a huge feather to make air the for them..i will smell it again. I will try it again to see how i feel about it now. I had it in a 50 ml bottle ...

By the fireplace is just too much. Eau de Soleil Blanc is stunning so is Soleil Blanc. All of the Elie Saab le Parfum's stink. I do not like dated old lady smelling fragrances. If the scent is described as mature, sophisticated or classy it means dated, old lady and boring. I find that I like perfumes that don't smell like perfumes or chemicals. My favorite perfumes right now are La Belle, Mon Guerlain edp, Poison Girl edp, MFK540, Delina, Olympea. I think that Chanel and Tom Ford are the worst perfume houses ever. LOL I still like watching your videos even though I don't really agree. I find that most times if you don't like it I love it which is refreshing. We can't all walk around smelling alike.
