Pat and Chris bouncing off of Zac would be such a nice listening experience, especially with Zac's growth as a host, he's honestly impressed me so much. I watch any of his videos, I couldn't get enough of them. It's a shame what sky has done to football daily, but this channel is the gem left behind front the burnt ashes. Credit to Dougie and Michael, the lowdown, which is no doubt similar to this show (we both know why, they're both substitutes for a certain weekend feeling), is another incredible listen. Joe's growth is absolutely immense as well, sam's always entertaining! Absolutely loved growing up with these guys teaching me about football and turning me into an insufferable stats snob, thank you for always giving me the information to win arguments ever since i discovered y'all even before the first sunday vibes. Sure, depth makes sense, but buying an injury prone winger who's never been great playing on the left, makes zero sense when you already have both Palmer and Madueke competing for the right wing, especially for the ludicrous price they paid. It's obvious that it's not really about depth but Boehly trying to buy as many young players as possible, in the hope that a few of them turn out great and the rest can be sold off. All he cares about is increasing the value of his asset. It would be a sound tactic if they didn't pay world class fees for prospects, there's little chance to even sell most of them for any sort of profit.

If the best young prospect was signed and playing absolute dog sh*t then all other factors wouldn’t matter as what they’d currently be doing on the pitch wouldn’t be justifying the price tag. Even for Chelsea if they were to get top 4 with someone like Neto coming of the bench the transfer would be hard to put as a miss unless he was performing at the level of a Mudryk. Same way Kai Havertz isn’t a £65 million player and more a £30-35 million but due to Arsenal’s performance in the league it would be hard to put him as a miss as a signing

Pat's hatred is leaking through everything he does when it comes to Chelsea - from his body language to his words like "Comfortably the worse side in every game you played...", which says everything about what he chose to utilize when it comes to blues - it is his heart, not his brain. What two seasons of challening for a title and eventually being left heartbroken by city does to a person. Bitterness on a big scale builds up and he wants to spill it on something he truly doesn't like.
