@@janedoe805 She had an amazing and long career. This was the era when an actress like Ms. Trevor were superior actors. Jo Van Fleet was another. She also did a Hitchcock episode as well. Trivia...Ms Trevor lost one of her sons in that mid-air collision over San Diego back in the late 70's between a private plane and a 727 operated by PSA Airlines.

That is CLAIRE TREVOR Academy Award winner at her 'lushest'! She is almost as good as Liz in Virginia Woolf. GREAT directing job by Ida Lupino, a gutsy gal who pushed her way both in front of the cameras and behind them as a respected director. I am not a big fan of her directing in movies so much but in this shorter format she is GREAT. The ending was a pleasant twist and sort of the 'cherry on the cake'.

In today's legal system if the detective had endangered his own daughter by allowing a stranger to kidnap her, bring the girl to a strange house, drink in front of her, he would have been in trouble with the law himself and CPS, not to mention his wife!

Then the snow ❄️ balls of shock and emotional scares 😱 throughout the child's lifetime. Damaging the ability to learn Question, I believe in adoption? Some parents are .......but should we tell 🤔 the child that she is adopted? If so, when is the right time 😮?
