Wagner, use key words of "Abadan Brezilete" or Abadan=Brazil and you find lots of videos. We ABadanis love Brazil footbal team and our official colors are those of Brazil flag. Abadan, Brezilete means Abadan the Brazil (of the footbal). Our local Footbal team is called "San'at Naft Abadan" which translates to Abadan Oil Industries. Abadan used to have the largest oil Refinery in the world. ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5rOYaKbjreMjtU ) ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4vNXot5fbdjgKM )

He said: "thank you and you are my friend". Then he said: "wait here and maybe somebody will pick you up". And I'm pretty sure that he was not looking for something more to happen because it's really normal in Iran for men to kiss each other on cheeks for greeting.

What? No falafel? You should try them in Ahwaz bro.Ahwaz is where ethnically Arab, Iranians live. Naturally falafel being an Arabic dish, makes Ahwaz the capital of falafel in Iran, simply the best

Kissing is a very formal and polite way to say salute , say goodbye or appreciate friendship in iranian culture , specially among elderly , don't worry :D .

@@IndigoTraveller yeah THAT doesn't sound normal AT ALL. lightly kissing on the cheeks is normal, but nothing around the lips. You may have been dealing with a repressed homosexual, especially since he thought you looked foreign and exotic plus he said you're beautiful. after the weeks of travel and countless number of friendly strangers you've met, you were definitely bound to find at lest one weirdo.

At 11:46 he says "Khahesh mikonam." which means something like "My pleasure"/"You are welcome." Then at 11:52 he says "Khubeh?" which means something like "Is that good?"/"Everything alright?" followed by "Refigh. Dust.", both words mean "friend". At 11:56 he says "Alan vaist. Alan miad miresunatet." which means something like "Now wait. [Someone] is coming now to take/bring you." After you say "What?" he says "Alan miad mibaratet." which means something like "[He] is coming now to take/drive you.". And at the end he says "Merci" a couple of times which means "thanks", as you know. Btw, kissing the cheeks is just a friendly gesture for greeting/saying good bye, maybe he was just very enthusiastic. :D
