@Ibn Muhammad: Well, hopefully money should not be an issue! We're not going to live in the 5 star hotels or so but like any middle class Iranian families live there. My intention is knowing the people and their lifestyle, experiencing their cultures through different events and festivals. I am not a blogger or a writer, just a curious mind! However, carving out a full year around all other schedules is the biggest challenge. I am working toward this and age wise, I still have enough time if I'm allowed to live an average life span :).

@Angelo Mathews who said Iran was uncivilised? If anything Iran was one of the most modern country in Indian subcontinent /Middle East during 60-70s. However name calling a deriding India in public forum and social media makes you look like a moron! The problem is with Indians not the country per se. We lack basic civil sense, manners and etiquette. Even when we are provided with new and shiny trains we love to paint it with paan stain and throw rubbish everywhere. @Angelo Mathews thanks Angelo what I wish for people in genenral just think as a independent human being not based on media propaganda not onley for my country Iran but for other countries and issues across a globe I think enough is enough nowdays we have social media and internet and we can connect to the people straight away without any mediant and find out about the history and calture and what we can do to make a word better and safer place to live Iran like other country has positive and some negetive thing no more than that but when it comes to the political point they are trying(fake media) to show onley dark side and exsaggerate about thing going on in the country they never mention a invadtion in world war2 while my country occupy and there is estimation that about 10 milion people had been died and county divided into many pieces,afterwards they went against monarcy system and supported revolutionery party to overthrown a king of Iran in 1978 and still countinue to starting to support Iranians enemy SADAM and gave him any possible wapons to kill our people still some people are suffering from cimical wapons had been sold by europuan country to sadam and he used them against iranians troop when they felt they are going to lose battle there is a lot of thing I can talk and explain but anyway thanks for your comments.

About the guy came into your room at night: Tehran-BandarAbbas train which is the longest route in Iran stops in 6-7 other cities (other than the two prayer stops) so passengers can take off or get on like every other railway around the world. He bought the ticket from Yazd to BandarAbbas and no one bought the same cabin from Tehran to Yazd, so your room was one person less in that time. One other thing, The woman in your cabin probably was also Iranian not Azerbaijani, because Iran has two provinces by the same name (East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan) and people inside Iran mostly refer to them as Azerbaijan and they don't mean the country. That's why others would be confused!

Went to iran in 2017 and it was an amazing experience. The people are so much more liberal and secular than what the government likes to portray. Most importantly the hospitality and people in iran are like no where else.
@melika35195 жыл бұрын
Den Koxh There are many religious Iranians as well, myself included, and there’s nothing wrong with that. They’re not extremists, but they like to practice their religion. Religion and tradition shouldn’t be associated with negativity. Not everyone has to be secular and liberal, as long as they’re respectful and hospitable towards others :)
@whuzzzup5 жыл бұрын
@@melika3519 Are you living in Iran? How "religious" are people there? I mean wikipedia says 99% muslims, sure, but how many actually are religious?
@melika35195 жыл бұрын
@whuzzzup Yes, I am. It depends on which state you live in, and which age group you look at. I'm 17 and quite religious myself (just so you get an idea of the kind of people I'd wanna hang out with) and yet I would say 95% of my peers aren't religious. They are Muslims and they believe in Allah and Prophet Muhammad and all that but they don't practice their religion. I only know a handful of people my age who actually practice Islam and pray, fast, etc. However, almost everyone is super supportive of religion, and they usually applaud piety and pious, devout Muslims. But that's mainly the new generation. The adults or elderly are usually practicing Muslims.

I don't think trains in India are as much delayed as to go bankrupt. This guy is just exaggerating. I have been traveling in India since I was born and I don't think my train was ever late by more than 4 hrs. Of course I know and I have also traveled in long distance trains but hardly they get delayed and definitely not as much as 4 hours except during some periods in some paths.
