THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! That smallest detail of changing the blend to add helped me so much! I had been searching for a video like this foe a long time.

It amazes me how much you are able to work into a short video! And I like how you tell us what buttons your are pressing. Thanks.

Thank you! I do believe that as of the release of the video, the stock footage that I used (along with 24 others including smoke, sparks, and explosions) are still available at the link in the description above!

Was thinking of doing (or trying to) this exact effect the other day. Perfect timing, haha! Question though... When you do the first couple snaps and the fire doesn't lite, I was thinking of adding sparks. Would it be better to splice the footage during those snaps and track it separately?
@HitfilmSensei7 жыл бұрын
Sparks is a good idea... I wish I had thought of that! I think since sparks quick fire out from the source, I doubt you will need to track anything. Instead, just place the sparks footage on the spot where they would emulate. The Hitfilm video giveaway includes stock footage of smoke, fire, explosions, and, yes, sparks! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKLcfZSCaZiqodk

I have a question... When I mask something out a person for example. Is there any way to keep the original background visible?
@HitfilmSensei7 жыл бұрын
Till Henkel Yes... but you will need to have a clean plate.
