A mini-episode on Eduard Bloch, a Jewish doctor who treated the Hitler family, would be worthwhile. Me too! I also love little-known (intentionally) stories from WWII and other times... I recommend you books of Thomas Dalton, PhD, and Veronica Kuznyar-Clark, they tell much more than Felton. Also search for "271,301 Red Cross", you will be very surprised. And to understand the opposite side, search for "Stalin's Enslavement of Rural Russia (full documentary)", and "sexual revolution in Weimar Germany in 1920s" and "Bolshevik sexual revolution in 1920s", and "extermination of Cossacks by Bolsheviks", and you will understand why at least 5,000,000 Slavs joined Germans in WWII. Real history was totally opposite from what modern schools tell to naive people. It was never about Germans or Germany, it was only about freedom from Marxism in all its ugly forms.

Or just all of existence, even. Almost *nothing* exists in stark white, nor pitch black - in nearly every regard, any action, inaction, or reaction is a double-edged sword. There is an inherent duality to everything that happens or exists - by choice, by design, or by happenstance. As an intentionally extreme example: It is only by the actions of murderers, and even genocidists, that a meaningful perspective of the true monstrosity of such acts is bestowed upon us.

I do know that after this event The Finnish church and prominent politicians and Marshall Mannerheim were furious, and during the war Finland took in 500 jews, many of them were sent to Sweden under direct orders from Mannerheim to protect their lifes from potential German killing. It really is weird that one of Hitlers most usefull allies, did not partake in exterminaton, nor facism. Although the matrilineal line of desent is the most traditional way of differentiating Jews and non-Jews in the Jewish community it is not the only way. As a person who is half Lutheran/half Jewish, lacks the matrilineal line of desent, and was raised as a Jew I can state from both personal experience and many hours spent in Hebrew school that bloodlines are not the only way of recognizing a person as a member of the Jewish community. Most people would also probably be surprised to learn which Jews tend to adhere most closely to the part of the tradition that values the bloodlines. It isn't the Orthodox.

Hi Mark!! I think that you should make a video about the Dr. Eduard Bloch, Jew Doctor, he was a general practitioner of Czechoslovak origin who practiced his profession in a Baroque house at 12 Landstraße, the main avenue in Austria's third largest city, Linz. In 1907, Dr. Bloch received a postcard from Vienna from a grateful patient who had treated both him and his mother some years before: "I am forever grateful, AH." He was no less than Adolf Hitler, in those years an aspiring painter, but future Führer of National Socialist Germany. Over the years, the friendly relationship between Bloch and Hitler had remained intact; even when Austria was annexed in the Anschluss and they had begun to be persecuted throughout the Reich, it could be said that Dr. Bloch and his family were the only people who received special treatment in which they did not suffer the differential treatment that the other Jews suffered. Despite this, the doctor understood that, given the entire situation experienced, the best thing for him and his family was to change scenery. And in this fact, it was Adolf Hitler himself who would end up helping him to leave Germany.

Yeah the honorary Aryan clause was made specifically so that can be done. By the end of WW2 Germany employed a lot of non-Germans, because in war, manpower > principles. My step-uncles father was a Slav (Ukrainian) who willingly fought for the Third Reich since the communists killed most of his family, so life circumstances can really shape how someone views a conflict and lead to strange cases, such as a Slav fighting for the faction that wanted to Germanize Slavs, and eliminate those that refused.

Mark Riggs wrote a book on this. Great work, great read. The Waffen SS was THE most diverse army in known history. They had more cultures and nationalities volunteering for them than Napoleon had in his Grande Armée in the Russian Campaign of 1812. 350,000 volunteers from +30 different countries, about 150,000 Jewish Soldiers whereas 5 of them were Generals and 2 of them rose to the ranks of Field Marshal. This is a strong counter argument to the narrative we've been sold for decades and is just another addition to the list of legitimate arguments for historical revision. The more you know...

Emil Maurice was also a more senior SS member than Himmler, being officially ranked #2 to have joined the organisation. Hitler was #1. He also had a relationship with Hitler's half niece which was why Maurice was dismissed as Hitler's driver after being ordered to break off the relationship.

@@badbotchdown9845 I'm referring to their membership number which is when they officially joined. Hitler was the first member of the SS, Maurice was the second. This does not denote rank or seniority in the SS.

It can't really get more contradictory than this.... I also always wondered why the Nazi party was so focussed on the Aryan race (i.e. muscular with blonde hair an blue eyes), whilst almost the complete party leadership had brown/black hair with brown eyes whilst being small and thin.

Hitler could kinda fit the description of the Aryan ideal to a certain degree. He had black hair but blue eyes, he was average height but he served on the frontlines thus he was courageous and had to be fit because he was a runner. The only one who really fit the description of the ideal Aryan was Reynhard Heidrich and he was suspected of being Jewish.

@@firemangan2731 or how about you provide proof that blonde hair and blue eyes was the ideal, eh? That's the initial claim made here. The person contesting this assertion does not have the burden of proof.

@@FuelAirSparkTime wtf is your point? I don't understand what you're trying to say. That everyone is trying to hide this fact? Why??? It doesn't make the nazis anymore sympathetic. This video does nothing but show how dumb, how evil, how vile, the German government was at the time. And how racist they really really were. To a completely petty degree. If anything, it makes the nazis look that much worse for thinking about this to the level they did. It wasn't blind hate, it was calculated. Don't to the percentage of acceptable lineages. Lol. It makes them look worse.

Yes, you are wrong again. This video is about Christian German with Jewish ancestor serving in the Army. Mohammed Amin al-Husseini (Grand Mufti of Jerusalem) met up with Mussolini and Hitler in 1941 to establish an alliance during WWII. It's so unfortunate the Palestinian leaders have a long history to pick up the wrong alliances.
