Hitler's Plans for a Mega City Empire, Germania

Hilter was rapidly taking over Europe, and one goal he intended to achieve was to create the ultimate capitol city that would serve as a hub of art, military, and architectural achievement. The capitol city was to be called Germania, and luckily it was never built because Hitler lost the war. There were plans for the mega city designed, and even some construction was started, but ultimately Germinia was just a mad man's dream. Check out today's new video to see what Hitler had in mind for his utopian city capitol.

When people go on about an alternate universe, birth takes place with minuscule chance of that person being born, so in an alternate universe, surely every person would be different? There’d be me, you, I or anyone else alive today. I mean, a single 10 minute distraction or conversation could lead to that person having a different child.

@@samhorder2259 yeah but there where probably invinite alternate univereses, so everything that can happen will happen, so there would be invinite universes where you can see Germania. There would be invinite universes to where you would not being born, but that does not matter if you have infinite universes with infinite possibilitys. So surley not everthing would be different if you would be in one of the infinite "right" universes :D

Most of the Germania plans was new government buildings, enlargement of roads, and more monuments. They had greater ambitions but they knew even during planning it wouldn't be super realistic. Especially after they used a rock to test the soil, and it sank way more than they thought it would.

90% of this video is bs. Speer was well educated and came across well at the Nuremberg Trials, hence he wasn't executed. His family company ''Architecturbuero Speer'' is still going strong in Frankfurt am Main

Thank you very much for shining a light on Speer's culpability. Too many educators and "history" KZbin channels just ignore this fact. I'm curious as to the author's thoughts on this. Is it because the worst evidence against him was never shown during his Nuremberg trial? He was interviewed (with other Nazi's and many British as well) for a documentary series in the 70's by the BBC. Seemed like history has been too easy on him and I thank you for begining to change that.

The evidence of Speer's culpability in the expulsion of the Berlin Jews wasn't discovered until after he died. He was charged at Nuremberg solely on his actions as minister of armaments.

> Speer was a little crazy Plenty of post-war interviews exist to show he was well within his faculties. He would have risen to the top in any government, it just happened to be one that asked an architect “how *exactly* is it that the wonders of the world were made?” and when he simply answered ‘slaves’ they followed up with “How many?”
