Hitman 2 - Escalation - The Delgado Larceny | level 1 - 3 Silent Assassin - Unlock El Matador

Watch as we take on The Delgado Larceny on Santa Fortuna in Hitman 2 and unlock the El Matador hand cannon. This coveted dealer of death will wreak havoc on any enemies unfortunate or stupid enough to stand in your way.
UPDATED for Hitman 3 in 2022: Regarding the unlocking of the El Matador. Previously players could unlock the El Matador in Hitman 3 by simply completing this Escalation with a Silent Assassin rating on the third and final stage. However, it has come to my attention that as of one of the more recent updates to Hitman 3, this is no longer true. It can now only be unlocked in Hitman 3 by progressing along the Escalation Tier 2 track of challenges.

fun to watch :) I did this some time ago and like you, I pacified that one guy before the 80 seconds started. And I found the safe combo on that table, too. I used the parcel bomb, however, so I could remotely trigger the explosion while already in position at the map exit, hehe

Fun fact: when you get out do the chair turn off the raido grab a hammer throw it at the guy that enters but the doors have to be closed

Nice video gameplay the reason I newer played these new Hitman series cause they are so short unlikely the Absolution game which was long and fun to play..

Thanks man, appreciate it. I would recommend these one's for sure, there's is a lot of replay value. I have played Hitman and Hitman 2 probably 10 times as much as Absolution in the long run. Absolution was interesting, but strayed far from the traditional Hitman style.

Sadly no, there is an update in the description about it. When Hitman 3 was first released it still worked to unlock it, but they later updated it so now you have to progress through the Escalation Tier 2 track to unlock it.

Maybe check under the destinations and look in Santa Fortuna, because that's where it's located. If you really don't have it, probably wanna contact IO Interactive support. Good luck.

Are you playing on Hitman 2 or 3? It seems that in Hitman 3 IO changed how to unlock the El Matador, now it is unlocked after completing a set number of Escalations.

Oh damn, that sucks, it looks like IO updated this. I wanted to test and make sure, so I actually played through this Escalation again a couple days ago on an alt profile, and yeah, they've updated it. This video was recorded on Hitman 2, back then the requirement to unlock the El Matador, was to get a Silent Assassin rating on the third and final stage. With Hitman 3 they changed it to be a reward for progressing along the Escalation Tier 2 track of challenges. Originally you could also still acquire it by completing this specific Escalation, like in Hitman 2, it just wasn't listed among the challenges. Sadly it seems IO finally got around to fixing this is one of the recent updates. The good news is, you can still acquire the Striker (a very similar gun) by completing The Dexter Discordance Escalation on Hokkaido, check out the video for that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2Wodmior9aHeK8

@@spikewilliams6444 As far as I know this method still works fine for unlocking in Hitman 2, I doubt IO has changed the requirements there. But to get it in Hitman the requirements were changed.
