I've actually been to the Petronas Towers and the lobby is an exact replica of that, same tiles, same pillars, same front desk. I'm not sure about the basement though, and the people at the front desk speak much better English in real life.

Codename 47 was recorded over the course of a afternoon and David had never done a game va job and just happened to be in the building when they needed a VA. As the games went on they wrote the character better and David got into the role.

@@TNDStream well the one thing that would make it not appealing to most people is the unbearable difficulty, that and remasters don't work well on very very old games, because while the visuals are improved the gameplay stays primitive af unless they try to change that.

I like how this level is in general pretty good, but then in the end it becomes stupid. All this stealth and disguise and how do we end the mission? We run to the elevator, guards can see us, but they don't have time for reaction. When we reach the elevator guards forget about us and 47 pulls the suit out of his butt. It looks like the level designers at the end just gave up.

So, this mission is basically the Elusive Target "Protagonist" of HITMAN 2016, huh? Agreed, the towers sure are impressive, and even today, they're still standing. FCK? Isn't that the logo for those boxes back on St. Petersburg? I would have done a "Himmapan Horror" by eliminating him with the axe.

I can do it where I drop my silenced pistol down the laundry chute, knock out the pizza guy in the bathroom stall (chloroform), steal his uniform, get the pizza, go to the basement, drop the smoke bomb behind the generator, wait for everyone to leave, retrieve my silenced pistol from the laundry room, shoot the surveillance monitor, go down to the second basement, take out the target, and escape via the elevator. My brother taught me this.

This game is so incredibly buggy and inconsistent. I just played this mission for the first time, did it in the exact same way as here but as soon as I killed him I was getting detected through walls despite disabling surveilance. All the guards from the floor were coming down to the basement and after a couple of tries to stay stealth I just went like "fuck this" and shot them all. Already did that in the Japan mission where it was ultra random who could recognize you and who not. Codename 47 aged more poorly but is still tons better than this one.

I can only speak from experience, but in Norway i met some Chinese tourists in a store once, they asked what water didnt have... whats it called "Artificial stuff in it" (Hopefully i wont butcher what it means in english but "mineral free water" basically), i pointed at the right one. And they did the hand greeting thing, sorta like saying thanks. Not sure how much of that cultural influence is in Malaysia, but i may assume its what that lady did there.

It's pretty obvious that "The Client" is a government official because no one else can access that type of Intel so the "Agency" is either a part of the government and this explains why 47 gets bailed off even if he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar or whike killing someone or the government is one of Agency's most valuable clients but I'd go with the first assumption.
