The games of Hitman before this one for me there were very difficult specially Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, but now in Hitman: Absolution is easier because theres too many abilities. I really prefer this game its not hard and not easy its normal. Sorry if theres some mistakes im from South America

while this is almost 9 years after this video came out i want to thank you for this series of videos without them I dont think I could have come back and revisited hitman blood money and gotten all the achievements without them

The first time I did this mission well (as in, not slaughtering everyone), I dropped a mine in the wine cellar stairwell when no one was looking, then assumed a post near the guard on the entry level. When the secondary target made his way down there, my plan was to blow the mine. Well, the guard decided to clear the area when the target re-entered the celler, and he picked up the mine! Fortunately, he was taking it back up the stairs at the same time that the target was going down the stairs, and when they passed one another I lit it up.

Hitman rank is worth 100,000, Silent Assassin is worth 150,000. In any case, money is mostly trivial if you are playing for Silent Assassin because the majority of what you can buy is fairly useless for achieving that ranking.

There is a much faster way to do this. Run to the cellar door right at the start, make sure the guard to the left of you won't see you, sneak in then run down the stairs and either shoot, strangle, or poison the target then drag his body into the crate. Next run out and go the direction the mission exit is, keep running by the wall and push the guard off the railing. Now climb on the truck onto the roof, go towards the mansion and jump off the roof then climb the drain pipe. Then when you're on the mansion roof go into the window and kill the target however you want. After that exit though the window you leave and just book it out of the mission. I still enjoy these videos though.

Ah yeah, my friend was tellling me right after I told him of our discussion that Absolution was in fact different. They made it a more linear storyline, without a whole lot of freedom, to emphasize the story line, and detract from the time that one would normally spend exploring the level and what not. (Blood money's open maps complimented that. Absolution's maps compliment the new play style.) All in all. New people will have a better time. Old fans will be dissapoint.

@askaykeeners8712 unfortunately I've not played it; if I remember, there was definitely controversy on release as they mentioned a kind of wacky system of how missions would be "got", but I think over time that gave way to people admitting that care was taken with them, wasn't it? Overall, if I take other peoples comments at face value, the prospect of "less story : more sandbox" is a good one; it also seems like they've made the purchasing of a "whole game" easier now, so props to that. Maybe I'll do a replay of the hit man series at some point to see if I feel any different either way

thanks, I did a little twist, I just went down, strangled the son, hide the body and went to switch to VIP guard and killed the father, went to get my suit then just leaved the level, I always found it hard to accident kill the son, but as always, there are tons off ways to become silent assassin on every level^^

Ok so what I did instead of using the mine, I went into the wine cellar where that target takes drugs, i threw a coin at one of the barrels so he could come and investigate, then I poisoned him and disposed his body in the chest. Then I changed into the guard suit which is on the Hacienda 1st floor (top left on the map) where there’s also a guard sleeping. You have to go into sneak mode otherwise you’ll wake him up! Then went upstairs, used the lock pick when the guards weren’t looking and then killed the other target by pushing him off over the balcony lol. Then I got my suit and escaped.

be careful when knocking out the guy in the jump suit if you see your alert bar go yellow restart for some reason they can sometimes hear you either knocking him out or changing cloths

i was a little dissapointed with the way the developers half-assed the newspaper articles. Every mission article is pretty much the same lines, the only difference is the headline depending on your rank and the details on what weapons you used and how many people died.

Does absolution have a better rating system? Also, I'd like the ability to know what flies, and what doesn't. I would think that poisoning a cake, would point fingers towards the chef. And I'd also like to think that there is a difference between a person seeing a guy being blown up, and a person seeing a guy pull a trigger to blow up another guy...

I played this whole level on rookie. I fiberwired Fernando Delgado while he was playing the violin. Then I plant the ru-ap mine and drop the heavy load on Manuel Delgado. I go back to retrieve my suit and then as soon as I start to run alongside the cliff trying to head to the exit my suspicion meter goes to red all of a sudden and I haven't even reached to the seaplane. At the end of the mission, I think I got specialist or professional. Why is that?

I did the mission same as you and @ 5:08 and got Specialist ? : / is it because I fell at the pipes and lost a Lil bit of health ? But then again that shouldn't make a difference on your rating ? Idk

no its prob because you can accidentally kill some guard when you detonate the c4 to kill the son thats why i got specialist when i was sure id get silent assasin anyway

The way I do this is sometimes I pull out a weapon and kill everyone or play smart

If you dont care about suit retrival. You can continue outside the party. By outside the party i mean get out of the building and going at path that leads to the hanger. Also, is professinal the best or slient assasin? im slighly confused about both.

Yeah I love this mission very much. The only downside of this mission is that hiding bodies in the back of the garbage truck kills the victims if they were alive and does not count as accident.

well the story sucks, 47 is on the run, he protects a little girl (!) i dont even know her name, she barely spoke. there is no customization and classic mission briefing. you dont get to know your targets, they are just random people to you. some main enemies DIE IN CUTSCENES!! levels are terrible (except like 2) and separated by door checkpoints with no turning back (!!!) save system is broken. sneaking and disguise system is broken. instinct is lame...
