It is a great and fair sniping spot, you get a good view of the land but are also very visible so it isn't overpowered. I used to play on a server always on that map but it just got ridiculous. People just RDM you if you have a sniper rifle or if you are at the top of the tower, also the ladders are horrible to use you constantly get stuck on them.

I think it's on hiatus for the time being. The Yogs are currently busy updating the server to version 1.7, so that could explain why there's not been any.

Also, Sips lost all of his hard drives over the course of two days last week, and with them all of his recorded content that hadn't been uploaded yet. He mentioned on Reddit that content is going to be limited until he's back up and running. Until then the only content is stuff that was already uploaded and just not published yet, which means lots of Gmod since it's batched, edited, and uploaded so far in advance.

There are ways to win, such as snipping back or sneaking in the tower. It is in fact very easy to catch snipers off-guard with a shotgun.

Witchdacta Cindertusk Thats true when you have lots of people, but when it's 5 guys and 2 are traitors, if the traitor kills someone from there it's basically too late. They have relative safety to just pop away at people. Yes, you can snipe back, but you can't fire first unless youve seen them kill someone, so they can just kill you first. RDM is the only counter to that when its this few people

First things first, remember who you're talking about. This is the Hats, Sips, and Turps. Secondly, that's fair, but the issue is that when the first person dies, suddenly it's 2 V 2, and the guys in the lighthouse have a better view of who is where, along with weapons that 1-shot from a long range with a little accuracy.

Like I think it was the second or third round this episode, Trott was the last Traitor and Smith just kills him. Of coarse the reason made complete sense, but one of the best things about TTT is the Traitors final stand, and it was totally blown away

Smith's detective skills are RDM with some seriously shaky logic. He kills a randomer, gets lucky, and works out who the other traitor is because there's only five people.
