@@Tedi652 It's true that combat isn't the focus and it's a stealth game but the franchise also relishes in spectacle with the kills, especially mission stories. I'm not asking for an overhaul of the melee combat but when the MMA fighter goes down in three punches and doesn't move, the spectacle is sort of underwhelming. If they sped up the quicktime events or had him move and attack you from different angles or even beefed up his damage the kill would've felt more satisfying imo

Kettlebell has been there from the release of Freelancer and it is non-lethal melee weapon that takes 3 slots. You only get The Disruptor Kettlebell as inventory item to use in the original Hitman side of the game.

Kettlebell Description: Don't let the small size fool you, dropping it on your foot will reward you with a trip to the ER. NPC getting hit in the face with the Kettlebell: nap time 😴 I get why they didn't but I think it should've been a lethal melee item. Depending on how much 47 can lift, those things would mess people up with the how hard he swings melee items, especially if thrown.

That NPC reaction when showing off the belt was weirdly funny. 47 dragging a dead body and they do not even really panic, they just sound offended by your actions. At least not at first does sound like she kind of freaks out afterwards. Still, she asked if you were trying to get rid of them, like trash, and barely sounded worried again just more like she was just generally appalled by it.

I bought it but it was primarily to get the Ostentatious pack. I do like the first bench cosmetic in the safehouse you showed. Otherwise I won't use them and I much prefer the robotic arm outside. To the money pit with no chairs. To be fair the money pit does not really fit 47's MO. Its five bucks at a game that has given me over 500 hrs in return thus far. I will take all the content I can get before they move off to the next game.

most of the items you get to bring into missions are cosmetic and have basic functions that have been present for most of the series' lifespan. there are very few cases where a new item that you can bring to missions has a new function (e.g. the molotov) which cant be found a few minutes into a mission (e.g. the ica titanium crowbar, the professional screwdriver, literally any melee, this cane)

I bought it and I don't mind it really but one thing I'm disappointed with is the elusive target mission. I mean I liked it but it just felt too short. Not to mention the insanely easy fight mechanic. Achieving SASO was just too easy as well. I didn't feel challenged. This mission would've been much better in Sapienza.

hitman woa on steam sale is about 30 bucks - then whatever other dlc you want. When its on sale its all pretty cheap - You will want the additional two maps if they are still doing that. 7 deadly sins is a toss up...its certainly weird, but not all unenjoyable. A lot of it is just cosmetics so thats your call etc.

Is it worth the money? No, it is not. Cosmetic upgrades are not worth anything. It gives access to an ET - sure, that's the minimum value of that dlc, but still no, I won't pay that much for ET. For the same money I can easily get some good games, especially now, during the big sale season.

Thia DLC sucks. Not that the things you get aren't good, but it simply isn't worth the money. I already paid for the game, that includes any elusive targets. Its not like I get a new game mechanic or anything actually improving my game. Its just another ET and I cant even just play that. I can only play it as part of an arcade mission. Its not like I buy it and can now at any time start the ET and just have fun messing around on the map. I still cant save or do anything crazy without the fear of a 12 hours timer. The items, while thematically great and good looking, are basicly worthless. A new suit? Oh... great... didn't have already enough of those I guess. 47 sure is one fancy fashionista! But at least we get an actually different looking suit that this cool Elusive Target wears. But that irish themed kettle bell, that walking cane and the rubber band? Utterly worthless. I already have plenty of cool walking sticks, much better looking fibre wires and certainly much better looking things to knock people out with. So while those are cool items to unlock via free challanges or something akin to that, paying for them feels kinda shitty. Now on to the mission itself. Is it good? Yes. It is. Its nlt perfect, but it is a different elusive target. Look at all the others we get. Usually its pretty much just the same map, ,aybe with a slightly different theme and them we get one or two ways to kill the guy. Thats not really special. At least we get a cool fight against this guy. Is it lack luster? Yes. Is it also a really easy and short fight? Absolutely. Is it literally just 2 times the same 2 prompts? It for sure is. Why not mix it up. Throw in the regular animation of melee combat in, give us a few more ani ations and a few more prompts. Make it an easy to understand fight, but a fight that actually requires you to fight him. Make it a random sequence of premade prompts. But even if I discard all my complaints, its still an Elusive target I need to buy. That sucks. I'd pay 10 bucks for every single ET ever released as a bundle, with unlimited replayability and a new reward for beating each one. Add them to the locations. I'd probabky even pay a bit more for that. But this feels exploitative. 5 bucks for each target? Holy hell, that could get expensive pretty quickly. So my verdict is, this DLC isn't worth it, but it is still a nice DLC. If you want to spend the money, do it but do it knowing you pay way to much for what you get. This isn't a necessity, the mission isn't particularly awesome, the unlocks aren't really useful. So yeah, buy it knowing these things and make a deliberate decision. Dont buy it out of a need to gain every item, like I did.
