I don't get why "225" is such a sought after number. I guess it's because in america you guys use lbs whereas here in uk and Europe we use kg. I think 100kg (220lbs) just sounds better. It's when you finally hit proper 3 digits.

@dodgemyshredwowtv829012 күн бұрын
It's not the same. Your strength grows differently at 14-18 than if you were older. An adult male between the age of 18-30 will increase strength dramatically faster than a young teen. During highschool you also tend to not be as "ontop" of your nutrition, sleep, and consistency in the gym as well, so that slows it down too.

frankly unless someone has insane genetics or is very heavy naturally (tall and broad) they aren't benching 100kg after 4 months... the best way is to know how much they benched when they began. usually either they used do heavy work without directly training to bench press.. or they used to workout and bench press, got to 100kg then stopped, and picked it back up again a year or 2 later or something and worked back up to 100kg in 4 months. People like to brag but it usually takes a lot of work and time to get that strong from baseline. Someone who has never challenged their body or worked out in their life will take much longer than pre-trained people.
