Love your tips! I went 3 for 3 Thursday night after a year of not playing. I only play coed which is fall ball. Your videos have helped me a lot, even at second. I've learned a lot of great techniques! I'm 40 years old and have been playing softball for only 6 years. Never played in high school, now I wish I had! Thank you!

Will you do a review on the swing rail? Batting coach just recommended one and Amazon is delivering tomorrow - coach agrees, it's one gimmick-like product that works - but curious what you thought of it.

I am not a fan of it and feel it's a gimmick.

Thanks for this lesson! I still struggle with keeping my back foot anchored, it always comes of the ground and I feel like I’m losing power in my swing
@MegRemSoftball4 ай бұрын
If I’m understanding you correctly, if the back foot is coming off and driving a bit forward at contact, that’s not a bad thing! As long as you’re staying behind your front side and really driving through try ball.
@akka8704 ай бұрын
@@MegRemSoftball thank you! It comes up just a little bit off the ground as I’m swinging, but I’m staying behind the front side as well. I’m trying to work on the back foot being more of a “pivot” rather than it lifting off the ground- if that makes sense?

@@akka870 it does but I will say, it’s not a bad thing if done correctly!

I can see where something I mentioned in my overly long reply can possibly help you, and everyone in the sport. I'll explain later after watching some more of your vids. If you're interested. BTW: Those things I mentioned are the reason I was able to walk again. rick in Tennessee
