Literally the same motion you use you get into throwing position. Please elaborate bud.

Might as well just roll it hitting the ball a few feet seems pointless
@MegRemSoftballКүн бұрын
Then don't hit. Do what you feel like is beneficial for you.

Why is my daughters coach telling her to pick off like a lefty. She is not a lefty and It's driving me crazy he does this!
@MegRemSoftball2 күн бұрын
A bunch of coaches teach that because they don’t like their backs turned to the field but in my opinion it’s slower and not as effective

Softball is embarrassing enough on its own. But to record multiple angles alone at a local park making plays by yourself at 30 years old while your husband pays all your bills is a little much.

Isn't this a drag bunt?

No. It’s not a bunt

so you only use your hands after contact? to extend. also how do I improve my swing? My swing looks so slow it looks like im swinging the bat slower than the girl at the end of the video and I dont know what im doing wrong.
@OP-ew7cr3 күн бұрын
like im pretty sure I understand the form but I dont know how to practice so that I get good form. My form looks kind of okay but something is missing
My youngest is a natural righty.. Since she began t-ball at 3 I had her bat left.. at 6 yrs old she was selected to 8U coach pitch All Star team.. our league has restrictions for slap hitting at that age division... My question is how soon would be a good age to start slap hitting?

I have been helping my 7 year old recently. Getting her to use her hips was a challenge. The biggest thing that helped her was I told her I want her belly button facing forward or to the pitcher at the end of her swing. This helped her to use her hips, then "Squish the bug" happens more naturally. Thanks for the videos/tips they have been very helpful. Keep it up!

good workout. I wish one of my teammates would see this. He would always charge the ball on an infield hard hit ball, and the balls would always pop out of his glove. Doing this can help him glove the ball better.

Pretty sure you gotta run towards the ball in do or die situations, and not just tap a couple times two feet before it reaches you lol. Might as well field it normally then

Really don’t need to be doing a tap dancing routine before picking up the ball….gonna get worn out by doing nothing.

Game situation is going to be harder.
@callierobinson642Күн бұрын
That’s called start your feet it’s to get you moving and ready because in a game you would have already started moving in and ready so you do what you call “tap dancing” in practice so you can really be ready and started moving that way you are ready to field the ball.
