So In bed 1 would that buck not want a south wind so it blows over his back while he watches the lower drainage he accessed from?

He had a solid visual advantage over everything to his south. I rarely see bucks bedding in the mountains and hills that I hunt based off of wind direction. It’s simply not feasible for them. His only weak point in this bed was from the east but even then there were some terrain challenges for anything that could approach from that direction. I had him on camera coming up that lower drainage walking into the dropping thermals and working that scrape with a North wind 8-10 times last year.
