If you do this again, try the Bayo FAir spike (99% of people don't even know that exists, can't blame them tho). If you do the bullet arts on her FAir 3, i.e. hold attack while doing it, she shoots out her bullet arts. The bullets coming from her heel-guns have a weak spike on them. Its like Joker down gun but infinitely worse :)

I go for it alot and succeed alot. Its not used often so a lot of people dont know how to react. You can hit multiple grounded ones a bunch in a row. And you can also just run off forward air if they keep going low and you can catch them with the spike.

Fun fact! As a Robin main, I have discovered that footstool to Up-B spike is a true combo! Most spikes have like a delay period after footstooling, but the Up-B can be activated immediately as you footstool someone for a free spike.

If you want it, the hardest spike in the game to land is mii brawlers onslaught side b. This is because it's not even meant to spike. The move is the one where you dash forward, and if you hit someone, you do a ton of attack and stuff. The 2nd to last hit spikes with set knockback and sends up into the final hit. If you can hit the move on the ledge, they will get spiked before the last hit connects. It never kills through unless it's a little Mac or something.

Krool up smash is harder by a mile, you can catch someone going past the ledge with grounded onslaught and it kills way easier

@@Kyara7 but the spike, Luke is said, has set knockback. It literally CANNOT kill. At 999% It does the same knockback as at 0, and it's not much. Also, the opponent has to be literally rolled back against the ledge as far as possible. Also the mii brawler one can't hit aerial opponents. If the opponent is in the air, they just flinch into the last hit and don't get spiked. Mii brawler Is certainly harder

@@PersonManGuyMale Let's say that your opponent has a recovery that doesn't snap to the ledge very well and has bad vertical recovery, like Terry. If Terry recovers low and doesn't snap, you can easily catch him with onslaught and gimp him. This doesn't only apply to Terry, he's just the best example. With Krool up smash, your opponent needs to be in a very specific position farther above the ledge than the activation for onslaught, and you have a single frame window to do it. Not only do you have to be insanely precise, but it also has just as low if not lower knock back than the onslaught hitbox. I've tried going for both of these spikes. Onslaught I was able to do after just a few hours, but I've never been able to land the KRool up smash even after weeks of on and off practice on lower gsps. TCNick did a whole series on every move and his hours of footage on KRool shows just how obscenely difficult it is to land.

I would argue one of the hardest spikes would be Ganon Side-B in the air. You have to hit the very ledge and they have to have no ledge grabs left.

Part 2 with the easiest spikes? Like Kazuya downsmash at the ledge and Ganon spikes. Any games you don’t get a spike in you have to add 1 shot of tabasco sauce to a a glass of water and at the end of 10 games of sweating you either get a refreshing ice water or a spicy punishment.

Little note on the Robin Up+B spike: the best way to get it is to not go for it. Ever. It's a stupid spike hitboxes that almost never comes into play. Do not suffer unless it's for content.

I frequently kill with Little Mac Dair on 12 million gsp. You can do it to characters like DK, Ganon, Captain Falcon, Cloud, Roy, Falco, most characters with vertical recoveries without guarding hitboxes on their heads. I’ve even killed Lucina with it on a few occasions.

Mii swordfighter up b spike is good. It also snaps ledge so you can go for it like bowsers down b at ledge. You can also kill people trying to edge guard you go high and snap ledge. They usually just die.
