You dont need to net them, or spear them or snag them...just put some corn on a hook...or some bread...far more fun

Awesome, We sold bait from our house when I was a kid .When we were old my dad took us down to the river at night to pick peeler crawdads in the day to sign minnows. What good memories your kids will have .

This brings back great memories from the early 80’s in the fall in Wisconsin using a dip net on a old bridge trying to catch buffalo and carp .. buffalo taste so good smoked!

Buffalo fish doesn't has whiskers, carp fish has them.

We used to call these "suckers" when I was a little kid. I was always excited to catch these and carp because they were so big. My dad and uncle said they were too bony and threw them on the shore. Always wanted to keep them and eat them. I will from now on.!

I'd rather Buffalo ribs over Buffalo Wild Wings any day of the week. My ex brother in law would slice the fillets every quarter inch and fry them crisp. You could eat it bones and all.

So the rib bones are that close together huh? Bit they are big bones apparently.. I guess you could cut out each separate bone with meat and whatever heat source you use, could eat it right off the bone like small baby back pork ribs done country style.. Thanks for the encouragement to go after these fish for what used to be considered a delicacy in commercial fishing

I would love to have some hoop nets to run for catfish! To be honest with you if I had a turtle and a buffalo fish sitting side-by-side I would take the Buffalo fish! They are so good!

Aaric Hale I don’t know how many pounds.... but on the week we got 90 fish that pretty much all weighed over a pound..... probably averaged 2&1/2 lbs each

He didn’t know about sipping the special tea I guess. Adolf’s meat tenderizer has a lot of bromelain in it. Bromelain eats up a bone.

There is plenty around Nashville, actually all over Tennessee. Go to any local lake and try to find a cove or a creek running into the lake, preferably a creek but coves can have them in good numbers as well.

i saw carp on lake milwoodby the hundreds and they were going over logs. i was told that was the way they get their eggs out .gods country on you tube boils their buffalo fillets and you can eat the bones
