This dude talks too much. At the end he's not very effective; prioritize, cut the project into pieces, discipline... waouh all that wording for this...

The mind frame of “I always hit deadlines” being a principle is key here

Super thankful that you posted this! I have continually struggled with hitting deadlines, even when I attempt to prioritize. Do you have a video where you demonstrate how you make decisions on what has to be in a project for a tight deadline? It would be incredibly beneficial to see an example of your prioritization process. Thank you for always posting great content!

Sometimes they just want too much out of someone. Plain and simple. And also two qualified individuals in a field will complete the same task at different speeds. It is just a fact of life. Different people need to be managed in different ways to bring out they’re best work

I love this. I agree with you and thank you for explaining how just finishing a project is okay and so much better than forcing your vision over the clients budget and time.

1. Prioritise step by step what you're going to do first. 80/20 principle 2. Stop when the deadline hits

I love that you procrastinated from your project to make this video for us! 😅🙏 It probably helped to clarify what you had to focus on too, right!?

What if you have…say 5-10 impossible deadlines? No client is willing to budge on content density, design quality, or timing. With about 9 years of in-house experience, I still can’t answer that question effectively 😅. But the answer is most certainly NOT working 10-12-14 hour days on a fixed, 40-hour work week salary. Rant aside, thank you for this! We need more content like this in our industry.

@@BB-pv6cf ha!! I remember this comment. Wow well I did some of them 😂 I actually emailed the exam board and argued that my teacher wasn’t allowing me my extra time, which could be used for both assignments and exams. So I think I got about 7 essays done that week, one every day. That was 6 months ago though! Now I’ve finished my A levels, I got grades ABC so not bad :)

You don't hit your deadlines. Your body language literally indicates you have some deadlines coming up, and you are seriously worried for your fate. LOL Not judging just good commentary.

Tips are great, but people shouldn't be forced to do military service.
