Thank you guys for doing these videos. Helps a lot to see a youth player swinging and reviewing these bats with metrics, especially as the holidays approach.

Bought my son a new 33 inch this year for his 18th Bday. He is committed to play D2 college baseball next year. He loves this Rawlings Cloud Ai bat, the ball comes off hot from the barrel, and its the loudest bat on the field. He had the 2024 32in Cloud Ai bat, and he decided to get the 2025 33in version for his senior year. Hope he hits some bombs this year, but I would certainly be happy if he stays healthy, has the joy and passion for the game and hits over .400 and leads the team in extra base hits.

Im interested in seeing your review on the Tank and a Bonesaber. My son had a really successful summer with the Tank, but Im interested in hearing opinions on it. He's 11 and claims the Tank has the largest sweet spot in the USSSA bat lines (hes got the Tank, CatX2, composite Arctic Fire, and Icon). He swings the usabat Bonesaber in rec ball.

@antonellibaseball hey coach, how much of an improvement did you see between ages 8 and 10 with Matty. Hitting, fielding, etc?

@AntonelliBaseball same here, just turned 8 yesterday. Matty's swing is something else! I taught my son(left handed bat) to hit like Freddy Freeman. Now he hits the ball well opposite field, but struggling a bit with pull power.

I like a one-piece bat. Mainly because I want to feel the sweet spot in my hands. A one-piece gives my mind constant feedback, so I know exactly where the sweet spot is. Plus, I feel like it is more solid. Sort of like professional golfers. They don't like forgiving clubs because they need to know and feel their swing for micro adjustments and constant feedback on what is happening. Yeah, super forgiving bats with big sweet spots and all the vibration protection is not a good idea IMHO.

This is crazy timing, I just bought my 7.5yr old son the 28”/-10 version of this bat last week. He absolutely loves it, coming from a 27”/-13 Icon for the last year (he grew 2” since buying the Icon in Jan). I like how you’re doing a ranking. Would be super cool to see you do like a bracket or something where it’s best 5 swings from each bat. In the golf world these guys below do that with Drivers kzbin.info/www/bejne/hILIaqWvltyNsNksi=GTJSaMjFmeneqklq
@LUCKIPUP11 күн бұрын
do you watch bat bros thats pretty much what they do
@ashdrewness11 күн бұрын
@ thanks I didn’t know they did those. I think it would be cool to do it with a Little Leaguer since a lot of viewers on this channel have similarly aged kids.
@LUCKIPUP10 күн бұрын
@@ashdrewness yeah itd be cool if they did it more often, theres a few times theyve done it to confirm or deny whatever bias they had reviewing the USSSA bats, but in general i like that they still review USSSA bats as grown men as they can easily see which bat is better than the other when they’re swinging 100%. It seems pretty accurate aswell as they well reviewed the hype fire and icon and they knew that they were going to be the hottest bats essentially produced ever, even over 90s unregulated bats.
@LUCKIPUP10 күн бұрын
@@ashdrewness they also have a score system so you can see what you should get depending on which attributes of the bat you value, aswell as letting you know how much feedback to the hands each bat has in every review they do. Currently the hypefire/icon is the best bat for USSSA, and pretty much any Louisville Slugger is the best bat for BBCOR, even the budget dynasty one they just came out with.
