You know i checked out the cat 5^2 and i can't figure out why it was banned. It has to be an issue with barrel thickness tolerances or bad luck with the testing. Albion Athletes was the besr version of the Cat 5 and cat 5^2/black before marucci bought out their operations (and their vibration dampening tech)

Have you guys ever done reviews for the Rawlings 5150 bats?? I swung one when BBCOR first came out.

They have, a couple of times. Back in 2020, the 5150 made it to the semifinals of One-Piece Bat Madness, so they talked about it extensively during the tournament. Later, they did a review of the 2021 version (pretty much the exact same bat) and then I believe they tested it against the old "Glowstick" Quatro in another video. That's just what I remember off the top of my head. It's always been a very good bat!

Bowling had issues with oddities causing a few balls to get banned. Many ran tests with no issues while the ones deciding to ban things had different test results. I feel bad for some of these companies that had to retool/recall/replace/etc something that prob only failed due to a bad test environment or someone not very skilled on the machine lol

Because it is a limit, trust me, if bat companies could make bats as hot as possible, 9 year old Timmy over there just hit a 450 dead center. It’s mostly to try to make all bats as equal as they can without making a $500 bat the same as a $200 bat.
