Love seeing the Mach AI make a return. My son chose it over the Voodoo and has been raking with the Mach. He is swing weight sensitive and loves the balance of that bat and has been having a heck of a season with it.

I’ve found that with the Mach ai, even though the sweet spot is kinda small it still flies well on miss hits it’s got great pop for how light it is

I swung it this winter. I rank it towards the bottom of the Easton and Rawlings I’ve swung. As a 13 year old here is how I rank the Easton/rawlings I’ve swung. Icon, Mav1, Rope and Split. I hit the icon the furthest and was able to hit one out on a 300 ft field with my hack attack.

Im surprised the Icon hasny cracked or broken yet. He swings it alot so youd figure it would show some level of fragility by now.

My son has put 200+ swings a week on his icon for the past 10 months and it's been super durable!

That's pretty awesome to hear. In the past composites have started to show signs of breaking at or before 1,000 swings. So if it lasts a couple seasons then it's certainly $500 well spent

I sent this before on a previous video will you please review the easton surge bbcor baseball bat. I have seen many kids still using that bat today even just because for it being a decent hybrid bat. It was end loaded and had a shi ton of pop even before it would get broken in and it was comparable to the original demarini voodoo because they were released in the same year and they were the 2 best bats at the time in my opinion mainly because i used to swing both of them and never switched my entire career of baseball from highschool to college. I will even send my bat to you to test.

Maybe start comparing these ultra expensive hyped-up composites (or alloys) to the ultra-cheap, and super GOOD Combat B2! $150 Combat B2 vs $500 Easton Rope. Better matchup? Actually, it's not, just buy the Combat if you're a contact hitter. Hell, buy three of them for the amount spent on the Rope...

It really depends on your bat preference. Do you like something balance and light swinging, Mach AI. Or do you like a bat with some end load with a better sweet spot, Clout. Personally, I'd go with the clout. Better sweet spot and the ball jumps off that bat.

Easton, there's nothing wrong with making a 2-piece composite for contact hitters, just don't charge $500 for it. Stop overpricing bats that can't compete with the top tier. Rope for $500 and Split for $400 are crazy prices. No one will pay that. Then they get marked down 75% on clearance. What bothers me is that these are good bats. Lot of players will rake with the Rope and the Split. But that won't happen if they can't afford those bats because they're overpriced.

From a lot of the videos I’ve watched even on your channel of the Cat X I wasn’t super impressed. It looks like a great double or triple machine but not super hot or anything. composite is a great marketing tool, most dads don't watch BB Bat Bros or read Bat Digest, so they see a $500 bat getting advertised as the next big thing, and buy it year after year.
