I understand that you already have a sesizable fleet that brings you consistent passive income, but I find a video like this in disadvantage to the rest of us who want to grow a fleet. You are putting yourself and any future collaborations with potential drivers at a huge disadvantage. If everything seems so simple, then what are the fleets for?

I appreciate the response. While I do have a sizable fleet, I also have ordered additional Dashcams to expand my fleet by 4X, some of which won’t arrive until May/June. When you are receiving your Dashcams, I would expect leads times to increase as the demand increases so you having a camera in hand will being a huge factor in building out your fleet. There are also many drivers that don’t have the money/wont want to invest their own money to buy their own Dashcam. I actually expect the opposite of your sentiment; meaning a video like this will be very helpful for fleet managers to share with their drivers to help onboard them. I spent an incredible amount of time on calls with drivers helping them troubleshoot issues and making sure they understand how to position the camera. In short, having Dashcams on hand and making the financial investment will always be attractive and there is definitely no shortage of drivers out there to work with!

Hi, i live in india,in a biggest town vizag. Here in India there are no hivemapper dashcam running my whole city is not mapped. Iam interested in buying one, how much should I expect the earnings if i do mapping everyday

This was very helpful thank you. I'm having trouble staying connected. Like my app is updated and my wallet is linked but it always ask to connect to dash cam wifi. But my iPhone is connected to it already. I don't get it. Before it was working, like I could see what the dashcam was seeing but now just stuck on that

I’m glad that you found it helpful! I would try a couple of things. First, try deleting/forgetting the Wi-Fi from your phone and then reconnecting. If that doesn’t work, I would try deleting the Hivemapper app and redownloading. Also, is it possible that your phone is jumping to connecting to a different Wi-Fi connection like a hotspot, public Wi-Fi or something like that? If so, you could delete/forget that connection. Last resort, I would contact the team in Discord. They can work with you on running some commands potentially but if it’s a hardware issue with the dashcam WiFi, they’ll send you a shipping label for replacement!

@@DePINConnection oo thanks, those sounds like some good solutions. I'm using my dad's iPhone since it's in his car and I'm an android user, so a bit confused on what to toggle in the settings lol but thank you, I will try each option

How long normally does it take you to upload images. It’s taking us an exponentially long time.

It can definitely take awhile. I normally just plug it in when I get home, leave it and come back to it after a bit. If you have unlimited cellular data I highly recommend that route as you can upload as your downloading in the car.

Yes unfortunately they are very backordered right now! I would recommend joining someone’s fleet for 50/50 split and ordering one. That way you can still map while you wait for your camera. I have a discount code linked below and a form you can fill out if you’re interested in joining my fleet.
