What I find the most amazing about this game is that, while it tells you nothing about the mechanics, one can still very easily understand them as they play along. Now that's great game design.

The game even leaves little hints based on how you died in the Game Over Easy screen If Grunkfuss kills you, a message says “No flash photography” If Birthday Boy Blam kills you, it says “Take the birthday boy’s picture” If Redman kills you, it says “You should have stayed away” I’ll leave you to find the rest

On this the design was interesting. Redman(and by proxy fireside Flumpty) Stay Away text and the furnace when they’re in the furnace was a good useage of the player checking their cam to see that’s where they are and making show the furnace with that text does make it clear that when redman attacks you have to not use the furnace. Grunkfuss starting in the Clown art exhibit that has a no camera sign is a good subtle hint that they should never have their photo taken. Just some examples. Virtual boi flumpty’s face once you burn all door power or they cut it is just creppy.
