I think that the GxK version without the Glove is essentially the 2.0 since that he starts about the same as Kong in GvK

Overall, this latest B.E.A.S.T Glove Kong figure which Hiya Toys just recently dropped is the true definition of the MonsterVerse Kong, both the original and the recent one. Definitely worth picking up one by one whichever suits your preferences. ‘Cause Kong is BEASTLY EPIC!!!

I like how hiya is doing things there letting shma get they last little bit of shine, before they drop their products, this looks incredible, just got my muto figure a week ago and I'm not disappointed, hiya is the way to go! I'm getting as much of their products as possible bye bye shma!

Overall, it’s looks alright in my note. Definitely worth to pick up, even though that I’ve already preordered the original one with the Beast Glove version. Alas, I do noticed that they put an Evolved Godzilla statue on the left side because they’re actually teasing the updated articulated Evolved Godzilla much sooner. And with Godzilla’s Day is fast approaching around the corner, I do wonder if Hiya Toys will eventually reveal more Godzilla figures? Hopefully they’ll reveal more info details for their Mecha King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla 1993, as well as the possibility of Final Wars Godzilla and Godzilla 2000/KiryuGoji like how they did with their GMK Godzilla and Godzilla 2000 to wrapped up the Millennium Godzilla continuation. But what’s you think so far?

Already, we have MA fans trying to run this figure reputation to the ground by saying "It's the same mold"/"It's a duplicate" Like, bruh... It's like you haven't bought Normal and Atomic breath versions of Godzilla. This is clearly 2 separate Acts of Kong in the movie. And even if you have to double dip, it will only cost $100. As for MA (Which is the only alternative for High end fig) How much do you have to spend just to get a BG Kong? What's that? $175 without a head that has silver tooth? Wow...

Am I the only one who noticed a lack of fist hands on the new Kong figure? He only has one for his beast glove arm in the pic showcasing all the accessories despite other pictures giving him a fist for his normal arm. In said picture he only gets gripping, open and knuckle walking hands.

Technically, the only reason it looks like they’re offering less it’s because it’s missing the pickax, compared to the first release. From hiya’s point of view they’re making sure both versions are different.

I think they’re having trouble with that license, they recently talked about it and it doesn’t sound like it’s happening soon, but they never said no to it.

The sets are different from each other. You have to keep in mind it’s the same Kong with only a one big difference.
