To be honest this is the first time HIYA toys did not deliver as we expected. Not dissapointed tho, still an awesome figure.

I have my copy and the paint is not as beautiful as the original not to mention the original pictures of Flamborn looked amazing and really captured Rodan’s true feel. The outcome could have used a lot more work.

@@Larva_train I must agree, the OG rodan color was better, maybe flameborn rodan specialty was the glow under uv light

@@Larva_trainI would say that Kong 2021 wasn't that good either. At least on my copy the eyes look bad on all the heads. The rest of the body isn't impressive either

If you have a black light it will glow that blue color in the dark

Oh my, I gotta say. It looks so much better in your video than other videos/reviews of this figure. Without light, it looks more color accurate than that cyian/green I was seeing. Granted not as good as the promo figures but it's still nice. I had no idea the dorsals were shorter though 😢

I'd say the reason the dorsal plates are shorter/more round, is because they were made and molded specifically to light up as bright as possible with the UV light compared to just using paint or the translucent plastic.

I actually saw those some smaller dorsals on shinrobjira’s re-evolved Godzilla, I think it has smth to do with it getting sent by hiya directly but that’s a theory

I love this. In my eyes, it’s more stylized the same way the burning Godzilla is stylized rather than perfect film accuracy

Godzilla here kinda looks like the Emerald Titan Mothra and not dark blue from GXK. But still a fantastic looking figure.

The reason why this figure looks “green” is because the prom pictures had uv lights on them! But without the uv lights it looks like this and personally I like it as much as the normal version and the evolved version but tbh it did not disappoint but tbh I would have liked it if the middle main dorsal plate was a little bigger? But it’s fine for me it’s a 10/10 👍

Repaints of monsterverse hiya toys we need, Repaint this to be more accurate Repaint rodan so it looks accurate in basic lighting Make a ghidorah repaint where he glows yellow like when he fires the gravity beams An intimidation version of godzilla 2019 where he glows blue from the neck head plates and back Not a repaint but they need a mechagodzilla 21

😤😞😑 these emojis sums up my reaction to all the reviews on KZbin... Mine still in shipping so my feelings are going to be a little bit let down. It should have been blue not green. this product is not what we were seeing in the promotion.... And we should personally get some money back but I know that's not going to be the case. I was just expecting blue not this color. So it's my fault of pre-ordering in advance. So I'm only going to be giving this 3/5 if I had to rate this Godzilla Kaiju figure. I just hope they were on point with the rest of the figures from Hiya this year.

Nah dude Hiya did not deliver with this one. The color is NOT what they promised on the promotional images and I feel this was a bait and switch. Seriously who decided to switch the blue for a diamond emerald color? and its a shame because I was excited for this version but now no. If Hiya decides to actually use a blue color without the UV light then that will a welcome upgrade but if not then atleast we still have the playmates version.

Ya, I'm honestly very disappointed with this figure... i mean.. I'm still getting it. But I've got super low expectations for this one. It's not a bad figure, but not the best. Hopefully, mine is fine.... especially my history with hiya so far..

I don't know. In the movie he looked like Burning Godzilla, only blue instead of orange (the same color when he charged his atomic breath). This figure, however, is light blue, almost green. I think I'll pass him

If you have previous Godzilla's from hiya, this one is not, not an awful figure but also not a good one. The paint is not accurate, maybe a decent one

Hey mate, I know your figure shows the dorsal spines are different but mine just arrived today and it's identical to all the molds we've had thus far. Sorry to say, you have a faulty figure.

@FigureManiaShow Good to hear! I just found it strange because the C in China is lowercase and some previously released Gojis say "2023 Hiya China" instead haha. Wonder if they used an older foot mold?

Its Green.. And the promo pix made it look so much better than this... i like the closed fists but the green looks bad... Should have been dark charcoal almost black with translucent BLUE plates with electric blue highlights and shading. The green is killing me and they didn't even paint the eyes separately...
