The paint apps being cleaned up under the wings under Flameborn do look exceptional. However, I can only have so many figures with giant wings.

Though I am not a hiya collector, to answer the question of why you'd watch a review of something you've already bought and know you are a fan of: Mostly for fun. It's kind of hard to find communities that actually like talking about action figures. So to see if the common consensus lines up with your own views by watching reviews can be a sort of parasocial practice. Plus if you start watching reviewers based off of figures you already have, you tend to be capable of learning more about what you don't have. It has always been an easy way for me to start with a reviewer's channel to see generally how they review things and to see if I'll like their style. Kind a baseline. It's how I got into JobbytheHong, D Amazing, and probably your channel as well? But honestly I've watched your stuff for so long at this point that I really don't remember what I watched first out of your content. Anyway, hope that helps to explain.

I kinda covered that in the OG review, but *this* one is a step down I think from the OG, just one, so still a bit better but different if that makes sense.

Great review, i think for the first time, I might pass on this. I have the original, and i dont see the point in this one as i dont display with a black light. It's cool, but yeah, idk.

I prefer the standard version. This one is too dark. The UV feature is cool but most people prefer to look at their figures with the lights on

Bruh they all get pushed back by months for the us and they go on crazy after market prices only a months after there release a lot of shma is overpriced by at this point it’s just easier for me to get

US retailer = US distribution. It's whenever they get to the US. If you know when a preorder goes up, but you don't, and then it goes up in price after release.....

I’m a bit dissapointed by this one tbh. It’s not bad and I won’t complain about another chance for people to snag Rodan. But for me I’m not seeing any reason to pick this up personally, the gimmick is neat but it doesn’t look as good in the light as the original release. Between this review and few others I might actually cancel my preorder. It’s just not appealing to me personally.

Totally get it. It doesn't particularly deliver if you have the first except if you want the marginally better fluidity in the movement and the paint apps in the head. Otherwise, easy skip for those who have the OG.
