We think it's hard to pass on the 1N at closeout pricing. The issue is at MSRP it's butting up against some very stiff competition. Clearly we're not along because the closeout graphics are currently flying out of here. If you're interested move quick, they'll probably be toast by black friday.

Like most helmets, it is made in China. This helmet is a great choice for a daily commute.

What do you consider a better option, an AGV K6, a Shoei RF1400, some other?

Both are excellent choices. The AGV K6 S is significantly lighter and a great choice for weekend canyon sessions and track day riding. The Shoei RF-1400 is heavier, but wins in the fit and finish department. If you put down lots of miles the Shoei build quality will pay dividends over time. Ferrari vs Lexus may be the way to put it in car speak.

@@the-real-zpero ventilation is comparable on these two models. The 1N however is a much bulkier helmet that's most at home at the track as it's tuned for high speeds and tuck position. If you ride majority street stick with the K6S, if your are majority track the 1N is not a bad option and something worth considering on sale - but not at full MSRP.

Easy one - the Suomy SR-GP. Our top three racing helmets at this time are the Shoei X-15, AGV Pista and Suomy SR-GP // if you want the quietest track helmet the Shark Racer-R Pro wins.
