I wear a large in most helmets but my lanesplitter is super small. I wonder if it runs small as well.

That sun visor makes it so cool, like a better version of the Bell Moto 3. Just wish it came with more than an DOT rating, maybe because of the chin bar?

I could be wrong, but I think it's becuse it has the drop down visor.

@@csolivais1979 Drop down sun visor will stop SNELL/FIM rating, but not ECE. It would've been a nice touch to have ECE but I'm sure HJC factored in the price increase that would cause for the US market. Just my opinion though

Is it as loud as it's main competitor, the Shoei X-zero? Could be more quiet for it's more closable but how loud it is when worn open is also important.

Why are they not selling the ECE version in the US?

Model for European market has EC 22.06 certification ( the newest and most strict one). Is there any real difference between US and European helmet or is it only sticker?

The ECE and DOT model are two different shell constructions from HJC. So yes, very different shells and not just the stickers on the back.

How does it fair in the rains and by that extension, fogging?

Anti-fog coating is typical from what we've seen from HJC, good but they all have their limit depending on the humidity / heat levels etc. As for rain, given the classic design with the open eye port - you will get wet compared to a traditional full face helmet but that comes w/ the design / style choice tbh. If rain / fogging is a larger concern of yours, a traditional full face with a pinlock option might be the better bet.

Can it be worn with sunglasses comfortably?

Comfortably is entirely subjective to you as a rider, but sunglasses will fit in there. Usually, sunglasses with thin side arms are the best way to make the comfortable too btw.
