dude they been dating for a long time, my guess is august 2021, they always post congratulatory posts on august like "happy best friend day" or pictures with fred and chai. also fred was studying in collegue in LA and on his second year he moved to chicago wich is closer to new york (where evelyn lives) and they visit each other pretty frequently, like 2 every two weeks, and in the summer.
