On a pistol this small it is difficult to actuate the paddle. I prefer the paddle release on all my hk’s. I’d put it on all my guns if I could, but after shooting the German version of this I think I’m ok with the button.

I actually picked up one today and I haven’t shot it yet, but I can confirm that visually the quality is as good as anything HK offers and is definitely top-of-the-line in the class

We want the guns to be made in Germany. The only exception is when silly laws prevent guns from being imported in their proper forms (such as getting an SL8 instead of a G36).

Major HK fan and owner here Paddles are expected / focus groups with hk users would bear this out. Spending all that money and time on yet another striker micro 9 is silly. Market is so saturated. A proper 21st century DA/SA micro compact is what is needed. A ton of engineering would be required. But why do i not own any micro striker guns. Because my full size or SK P30 i can ccw all day and is physically impossible for that gun to go off. Im sure the CC9 fire control group is bulletproof but peace of mind is important to me One final thing on striker guns. I understand the american preference for lighter crisper triggers. But in the CCw world the long heavy DA/SA first pull is what you need. Reduces the chance of ND and premature discharge. People buy HKs specifically for reliability and unique features. Ill end with this: THERE A REASON THE USP HAS BEEN AROUND FOR 30 YEARS !

Yeah I was wanting all that until I picked up the gun. I caved and this little guy you can carry all day and night without noticing. Overbuilt and exceptional as always. And I have LTT: USP 45, all P30s, USP 9c and many other non-LTT HKs including a SP5k pdw. HKs even without the paddle just rock. But if a paddle version comes I’m all over it!

I’m sorry but this frame looks 10x more useable than the SFP9cc. SFP9cc looks like it’d be a bitch to hold onto. Next to no texturing and very little ergos. Just flat everywhere. I’d prefer the SFP9cc slide for sure though but it’s all just aesthetic.

Boy there’s a lot of people angry about not using a paddle. I’d prefer a paddle too, but the fact is, the majority of the US market wants the button. As this was designed from the ground up for the US civilian market and not a European contract, it makes sense to release it with a button.

After watching a thorough review by james I'm def buying. 80 IQ consumers see a product's appearance and have no clue what's under the hood so to speak. This is, like all HK pistols, a fantastic addition I've wanted as an alternative to my p2000sk which is too large for summer carry.

Do you honestly think that how something looks isn't a significant aspect of why people buy HKs? Do you think people buy Lamborghini's for fuel economy too? How it looks is ABSOLUTELY a factor, especially if you're introducing a product at a price point that is on the upper echelon in comparison to other products in the same category. People have been saying for more than 10 YEARS what they wanted from a product this size from HK and they didn't listen to anything anyone was saying other than the size of it. Blows my mind.

I picked up my HK CC9 the other day. I took it to the range today and it performed great! It is still a little tight (i.e., slide lock, and magazine springs) but I anticipate it will loosen up when I run another few hundred rounds through it next week. It feels great in my hands and I can't wait to carry it as my new EDC. 😎

I love my VP9. It made me a fan of the paddle release. So the CC9 is a USA made for the US market. Well....I already have a micro 9mm (Hellcat). If the CC9 had kept the paddle release, I would have definitely purchase it. But because HK came out sooo late with this (P365 came out 2018 with several iterations of it since then), there is very little merchandise/support for it. It is not worth buying in a market where there are already excellent micro 9s (dare I say the market is flooded) with lots of aftermarket support in the US.

The market for pistols is huge and the models are becoming more and more similar. The same applies to small cars: if you remove the brand logo, it is difficult to assign the car to a manufacturer because they all look the same and hardly differ in terms of technology.

The only similar gun is the P365 line. The other micro 9s don't have a removable FCU. Also, the CC9 has removable backstraps which I believe is the first micro to do it.

H&K could have sold the 243 (civilian G36 copy), or put it in XM8 furniture. They could've sold the MP7 in either 4.6mm or .22lr. They could've updated the USP with an optics ready model. A MR223 with the latest 416 upgrades, maybe even 416 markings. Re-release the P7. But noooo, you had the great idea that we need a Canik slide on a Taurus frame. Yes H&K, that's totally what we need right now.

That's the way to do it as I'm freezing working Security That's one reason I choose HK or if I haven't lubed in 3 months for whatever life reason other companies pistols may not function 100% especially Micros where slide velocity is so important. Also, as stated in my vid on it thank you @HecklerKochTV for 3.3" Polygonal suggested a year ago which is 2.1" of barrel travel vs competitors 3" which is only 1.8" of travel in slower lands & groves. People don't understand how important that is to full Hollowpoint expansion especially through winter heavy clothing. I HOPE CS forwards my email. Also they said no LE sku yet w a 3rd mag which I hope changes.

In one pic it looks like it's a bucking bronco !! They should have made the barrel .375" longer, added a little more room in the trigger guard and since it's not compatible with a SCD, added a decent manual thumb safety option for those that want it. The way it currently is, it's a hard pass for **me**. LOL !!!!!!

One more comment: on the left of the slide (inside) after 50rds, slide and barrel were very well oiled, there are 2 areas of significant wear.......way more than a 1988 police trade in Glock. Go figure...

I am more excited that this was done in the US. This will sell, but not nearly as much as the VP9. Of the many asks we have with Hk, the lesser would be "oh wish I had something smaller than the P30sk, VP9sk, P2000" but since this is made in the US we have to buy it. So that we can get better projects state side. All of the pistol/firearm market in the US is driven by competitive shooters. That's what it is. You know what I dont see at competitions? H&K. Besides what's on my hip I never see them. Let us shine, let us do things that make sense and please just re-release all of your pistols with optic cuts. No need to go crazy, just give us the same dang parts you put in the Mark 23. Metal trigger, nickled parts, then an optic cut on the USP,P30 series to start. And whammy! you have now sold more than you ever have. I love you guys, but you make it hard for a fella out here. I’ve literally been thinking “I wish my VP9sk was slimmer” for years. This is perfect. The sk guns are literally full size guns when it comes to width. This is nice and flat but keeping roughly the same grip purchase as a VP9sk.

10+ HK'S so let me put my 2 cents as a "customer". Around 2022 HK showed the world the sfp9cc in Germany. In my opinion I believe most of us were expecting the sfp9cc here in the states within the next few years. I was looking at every shot show and speaking to the HK reps at the great American outdoor show here in Pennsylvania. Nobody cares this gun is made in America, I do not trust the "reliability" of guns made here. Seriously look at the track record bushmaster, sig usa, remington, and so on. That being said i know HK would never put a product out that had any chance of failing. With the release of the CC9, they removed key features the charging assits on the rear slide and the paddle magazine release.
