HK Raven 990 DLG glider flight in Strogino, Moscow

This video was filmed at 2021/06/20 in Strogino, Moscow with GoPro mounted on my head. I was launching my H-King Raven 990 DLG glider. It was quite hot this day and a lot of thermal activity in air. But the place was not optimal because of large trees and lack of space. In the background you can hear sounds from variometer installed on the plane and transmitting altitude values to my radio via telemetry channel. The on-screen graphics shows zero-corrected values from this variometer.

your flight style is not smooth enough to use small thermic on ground. Like an bull in a china shop. Glory to UA.

hi, im thinking of buying one of these, do you think it can catch thermals if better technique is used?
