VP9SK, you don’t need to pull the trigger to release the slide. The barrel is made from Rheinmetall stock, same spec steel as in their Leopard II tanks, guaranteed for at least 70,000 rounds. You don’t need to screw around with an aftermarket trigger, potentially seriously compromising the reliability of the pistol. The HK is the M5 super coupe, the others are Accords and Camrys.

Love the Glock 26. It's tiny and the best for conceal carry to me. Plus it's compatible with all the larger Glock mags that I own if I want higher capacity/more grip length. I do think the Glock 26 presents the worst value out of of 3 pistoks here, but what it comes with is still great for conceal carry which would be my primary reason for getting a Glock 26. The HK VP9sk is a great gun with superior ergonomics and trigger, but I'm just more accurate with my Glock and prefer the button release. If you change out the sights and trigger on the Glock it's around the same price as a VP9. Many people who complain about the VP9 being more expensive needs to consider how much more the VP9 brings to the table straight from HK themselves.

I started with glocks , I got into M&P 2.0 series because I got the 10mm and the FPC and liked them. I got the subcompact as my new EDC because I liked they offer trigger safety’s and I got the subcompact over the shield because it is like the Glock 26 and accepts the larger magazines from the full sized and compact models and it’s versatile in the same ways . With that being said , HK VP9s have been my dream gun since I got into guns but it costs a lot more and the local shops didn’t have any when the covid spree happened. So I got a Glock 17 because it’s what was available and I knew I could trust it . I love my glocks / daggers and M&Ps but I wish I would’ve just invest in the VP9 and VP9sk that come with the Holosun SCS because I still can’t stop thinking about them. They’re so nice , lesson learned. “Buy once , cry once” as they say.

You do not have to pull the trigger on the VP9sk when taking the gun apart.
@williammoon29596 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I don't see why people are so petrified by the thought of pulling a trigger on an unloaded gun. Just make sure there isn't any rounds in the gun and pull the trigger. I do it all the time with my guns and never once had any problems.
@zonkeymaker5 жыл бұрын
William Moon as a gun manufacturer knowing they’re going to sell thousands of guns to people who will collectively clean their guns thousands of times, the better design is one where nobody pulls the trigger unless expecting to fire a round

M&p 9c is running about $350 at some shops online. For that price it just took the lead and waiting patiently for my FFL delivery. I thought S&W included the shell casing from the factory test fire in the box with the gun?

Not sure about the glock having the polygonal rifling but i do know that the hk has polygonal rifling and you didn't mention it having it on the vp9sk. Did you get the barrels mixed up. Very good review but can you clarify the barrels?
@MarksmanTV7 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! You are correct, the VP9SK does use polygonal rifling. I went off on a tangent about the Glock polygonal rifling and omitted touching back on the VP9SK. Thank you for mentioning it in your questions. There is alot of internet conjecture as to weather Glock has moved from polygonal to hexagonal rifling in their pistols now. Some say that certain models use polygonal, whereas some of their models have moved back to traditional rifling... I can't find a definitive answer on this. I did recently do a video on the Glock 17 and Canik TP9SA, and I did find on Glock's website that the Gen 4 Glock 17 has traditional rifling in it. Thanks again for your comment and thanks for watching!

I own all three. While Glock would be my choice in a SHTF/zombie apocalypse situation, I’d go with the M&P9c out of these three for normal life scenarios. Just as reliable as the Glock, METAL sights from the factory, 12-rounds vs 10 in the others. And WAY cheaper. I got my M&P9C for $400. My G26s were $475-$550, and my VP9SK was $600.

I have a 9c. The stock trigger sucks, but you can get an Apex Duty Kit for $50 that makes the trigger a LOT better. I’m a lot more accurate with it since I did. I can’t get the VP9Sk here, but I choose my gun over the P230Sk, which has the same dimensions. The butt is wide on the Hk and it is harder to conceal IMO.

Drift adjustability is so stupid for carry handguns. Dovetails are a way of securing them against abuse and such, but who has ever had to windage adjust their rear or front sights for that matter? There's no cheekweld, so the centerline is most important.

A while back when the VP9 was new on the market I was looking for a good starter pistol for competitions. The competition part hasn't panned out yet, but my final three options came down to the VP9, Steyr L9A1, and Springfield XDm 5". They're all great pistols. I'd like to have all three, well two of them now that Springfield is in the fire, but the other is still on my wish list even for comparison sake. Anyway, I chose the Steyr L9A1. It came down to cost which was very close being that they were all in the same price group and the Steyr has a longer barrel length. I'm happy with it, it's one of my favorite pistols in my collection, but I still want a VP9. It's very comparable. I consider it as a slightly more expensive cousin of the M9A1 Steyr.

@Berserkable4 жыл бұрын
Wow, ok... I’ve never heard that before lol. I’ve heard Batman gun, PPQ knockoff, but Hi Point? Damn dude. Brutal! Size wise it’s the only Sub Compact I can tolerate. The others I’ve tried just feel like they’d fly out of my hand. The HK SK line i shoot like full size guns. I would like to see them bump it up 2 rounds like they did with the full size (15 -> 17). That’d be great but I’ll take comfort, reliability and “shootability” above 2 extra rounds every time. The other two guns are great guns though. M&P is hard to beat price wise but it ain’t no HK. Walther is another great option!
