I had arrived in Hong Kong from Dallas and my body was too confused on time. So I walked down the street at my hotel and as I walked I heard pipes and drums !!!!! WHAT THE HELL ...followed the sound and went up off the street to a wide open plaza where these folks were practicing. I LOVED IT ..never dreamed I would hear/see an all Chinese Pipe/Drum marching band!!!

Well... it should be stiff and formal a la pre 1997. With commands followed by a group done in British-era military attire carrying rifles.

Timing sir, it's all in the timing,a 4/4 is a quick march, a 2/4 is a funeral march AKA slow march, no need to thank me for the enlightenment
@taichingkan7912 жыл бұрын
thanks, but since i hear a strong accent on the 1 beat and a softer on the 3, i'm assuming, by my music theory, that this is in fact common time (4/4)?
