yall i did decent enough on my io, it was a mock tho so it's fine. But most of my issues are a lack of preparation SO MAKE SURE TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR TEXTS, SUPER IMPORTANT, your teacher is very likely to ask you about it, so make sure to study it

You actually can´t. You can refer to the plot happening in different parts of the literary work - you can even have the quote in your outline and use it to provide further evidence of your point, but your extract needs to be continuous. Hope I´m not too late.

hi there ! can you please help me with my IO title? i don't know how to phrase it properly but in Never let me go there is the idea of clones who are kept separate from society and then in Cyrano because of his physical flaws he is not considered a worthy enough to love (Roxanne). I can look at how society rejects them because of these parts of the characters? How would i phrase this and link it back to a global theme? thank you!!

I personally believe exclusion is a global theme because it can touch all layers of society and all cultures. The problem with using Lord Of the Flies and Cyrano is that the exclusion is not the same. One occurs due to an unfortunate event of war, and the other is voluntarily. Maybe in your oral you could nuisance these and mention how they both have an impact on the characters anyway. You could also talk about humans as social beings. That's my thought anyways, but please take this as coming from a student and not a person with any sort of credentials.

ahhh, i'd consider it a good beginning but it'd need to be more specific, i think? materialism/consumerism as it affects what exactly? also don't forget that it should relate to one of the IB concepts: Identity, Creativity, Perception, Culture, Transformation, Representation, and Communication. (take that with like a pile of salt though, i'm only a student after all)
