New youtube recommended is so smart, this video is totally obscure but was *perfect* for me. Did not expect the robot to be able to turn that fast, and the use of carbon fiber rods to save weight is amazing.

You'd be better off with something in the FANUC M-900 series. Those ones can lift a couple hundred kilos, so they'd pack a lot more wallop. Probably better integrations with computer vision software too, so you can make sure you're always landing right on the nose.

Very cool concept, I know as an industrial robot user, mainly SCARA, I'd like more rotation in axis 4, maybe instead of a lever the use of a capstan pulley arrangement?

That's one way to tackle secondary vibrations from load shift. Another would be to limit jolt through the software. I guess they are going for ultralight, so a counterweight could be an option on the main axis but not on the elbow.

It can be used for a variety or things, mostly you see them employed as pick and place operations. Say you have a whole bunch of parts you need to assemble, but you don't want people to contaminate them. This thing can assemble that object at a high rate of speed in a closed environment for mass production. In short they replace or assist entire workflows.
