Well, MTR added already platform screen doors on I think 2011, this will reduce the train noise so that our ears will not hurt.

i love that sound too. u can hear it in Kwun Tong, Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay because it has no platform screen doors.

They do not have platform screen doors. Because the stations are elevated, they only add automatic platform gates. EDIT 31 October 2021: This reply was made before the opening of the Tuen Ma line Phase 1 in 2020.

Yes, the tone of the VVVF sound is high pitch and hard in quality.

Okay here is the difference: C371 were manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries and TRSC and used in Taipei Metro. If we are talking the trains in Singapore and Taipei, the trains there are different. C371 and C151 is diferrent.
