Only about a thousand dollars 😂 In all seriousness though, Makita makes some good ass looking tools.

True, but it makes it hard for smaller company’s to get a hold of such a wonderful tool that could save and make them thousands of dollars.

If they can't fit inside a compartment on a utility truck, it'll never get used. We have a Milwaukee at work and it never leaves the storage room cause it doesn't fit inside any trucks cabinet and can't stay out in the weather.

Most people in the eu who uses these types of things have medium to big sized vans for putting their stuff in. Lot's of space. Though i understand that it might be a little harder to transport if everyone has a pick up

@@johnskip2694 Milwaukee/Makita arent targeting small contractors. They are targeting big industry who can afford to spend the money on items like this cause the money doesn't matter. One of their big target markets for ALOT of their tools lately (Milwaukee esp) is the power and data distribution sector. Multi billion dollar companies that don't care if cordless cable cutters cost 3 or 4 grand. Most of those employees operate out of utility trucks with cabinets. We have line trucks at work that don't even have electricity on them cause almost everything is cordless now - but you'll never replace a hydraulic jackhammer used to break up 4 square feet of sidewalk or pavement at a time, with a cordless jackhammer that can't stay out in the weather and can't fit inside a tool cabinet on a truck. It's exactly why we have one, but it never gets used - cause it doesn't fit in a cabinet and can't be left in the rain laying in the bed of a truck either.

9/10 companies who buy this demo hammer have Vans and have a locked and secured storage container on site.

Instant design fail just by looking at it. The battery is large, heavy, prone to vibration and they places it downwards. I can't imagine they created special batteries with stronger attachment points just for this model, but these tools will damage the connection between the battery and tool in no time as it is all friction fit
@alouisschafer72125 ай бұрын
Makita is better at engineering such things than Milwaukee or Dewalt. They will last.

Makita built in vibration protection for the batteries in their oscillating tools and heavy impacts. I'm pretty sure they thought of that in this case.😂😂😂
