No mention of the poor livery application on the coaches - the extra blue stripe between the bottom of the windows and the bodyside blue, to cover a production error!

You should never have these problems on a £300+ loco and on 7x coaches that Hornby are selling at £44.99 each........ That's perfection prices on a second rate product!

Why are the coach roofs grey but the power cars are black?

They look ok. But 4 things put me off. 1. The fact LNER only ran the set once anywhere near me (aka the Edinburgh - Doncaster section of the ECML), on a day I was ill, 2.The wrong number on W43006, 3. The printed blue stripe on the coaches meaning you have to varnish the set yourself to make it disappear, 4. The audacity of Hornby to produce something with so many flaws yet having the prices so high. I'm on the lookout for LNER power cars in the ex-VTEC livery for a 2+9 set at the moment too, as well as having so many preorders coming and the fact I'm still unemployed...

Over £600. However in fairness to Hornby who I am no fan of these days. The GWR HST train set is great value and a lovely little set.
