No, this is the Kings guard watchparade from Akershus fortress to the kings castle, think its every friday. Changing of the guard is everyday at the kings castle.

Is there a band and parade through the city daily for the changing the guard or is it just this on a Friday? Do any of the other Norwegian bands take part in this parade on a Friday like the staff band or navy band? I’m hoping to plan a trip to film in the next year or two and these events will be deciding factors on when and for how long! Thank you very much for your help once ahann

Changing of the Guard is just one troop releasing another at the castle, its everyday at 1:30 pm, no band at that event. The watchparade is during the summer, the Kings guard company 3 band marching with the troop that is changing the guard at the Castle. www.royalcourt.no/artikkel.html?tid=29281&sek=28607&scope=27248

The guys running at the sides asking tourists to get out of the way. However. The actual regiment, who is marching behind the band, is armed. They carry machine guns.

Per Hosar Det har de gjort siden 2009 hvertfall. Nå må det sies at IPhone som gjør opptaket her, ikke har den råeste mikrofonen og forsterker lyden fra signaltrommene en del. Gjelder også signalhorn forøvrig.
